Two hour's earlier eariler....

Barnaby looked at the burned out body of Willings and saw that his leg's
were completly shattered. Perfectly normal for a car crash.

" Excuse me Doctor?" The Forensic team leader tapped The doctors
shoulder.
" Yes? What is it?"
" You don't have the juristiction to run this case, this is out of Harborville City lines and in the new york area."
" I'm terribly sorry, but our police officer's are here, our former investigator is here." Motioned a hand at Willing's dead body," And The M.E. is here." He pointed to himself.
" why bother? This was a accident."
" It was more then a accident."

" Your questioning the best foresinic team in New york city?"
" Yes, And someone of your statu's should know that the car hood isn't crushed, his leg's would have been trapped."
The forensic team looked down and saw that he was right.
" And the real thing is his tongue..." Barnaby then slowly took his gloved hand and opened the mouth of Willings.

" The man has his tongue cut out. the only way this could have happened was that he doused himself in gasoline. Took a trail to the road, lit it, and ran back and had enough time to crush his legs and cut out his tongue."

" You mean that their's some physco out there cutting out people's tongue's?"
" Or a sick minded arsonist."

[Tara Roylin]

She had finally caught up with the dog Jay and taken her shoe back. Jay was rolling around on the floor, excited to go for a walk. With the trash can filled to the brim with drool soaked paper towels, Tara laced on her tennis shoes and grabbed Jay's leash.

The cool morning air filled her lungs as she began to jog towards the burned down barn. Police and new reporters swarmed around it, she saw another girl heading there too. Jay stood by Tara's side, sniffing the air and growling a little.

It was only a day that Tara had moved in and there was already a murder. How welcoming was that? With a deep breath Tara jogged over to the girl to see what was going on. An uneasy feeling grew in her stomach... Was it a really good idea to move here?

*Sorry, my comp. 's really slow, never on enough. I'm also sorry this post sucks.*

[Coraline Silvers]

Coraline and Naomi were talking by the burnt down barn. She had heard on the news that there had been two murders here, and then they found a different murder this morning. Coraline shuddered, who was next? Police were still surrounding the barn, talking in hushed voices. Coraline looked to see Samantha Williams running down a hill and towards the barn, not far behind was the new girl, Tara Roylin, running with a rottweiler.

"Look, there's Samantha, and Tara," Coraline said, pointing off into the slight fog. Naomi nodded, and both Coraline and Naomi started walking towards Samantha and Tara.

"Hello Samantha!" Coraline yelled. Samantha came closer and Naomi said

"Hey, Samantha." Samantha took a sip from her water bottle and greeted them both. Tara looked at them both

"Hi guys," She said.

TN: Your guy is in the hotel.

“Hi, guys,” Samantha said, wiping her hand across her mouth before screwing the cap back on her water bottle. “What’s up?”

“Oh, we just figured we’d check out the site of the murder,” Coraline said off-handedly.

“Can you believe there’s actually been a murder in Harborville?” Naomi asked, turning to Tara. “And it’s your first day. You’re so lucky; I’ve been here for seventeen years and this is the first time anything exciting has happened.”

“Wait, what murder?” Samantha asked, her forehead scrunching up in confusion.

“The murder that occurred in this barn,” Tara said, jabbing at the air behind her, “this morning.”

“Yeah, isn’t that why you came out here?” Coraline asked.

“No; I was just on my morning jog, then I heard you guys talking and figured I’d come say hi.”

“Well, whatever the reason, I say we stop chatting and go check this place out!” Naomi said, grabbing the pack that lay by her feet and slinging it over her shoulder. She started towards the barn, then paused when she realized no one was following.

“Aren’t you coming?” she asked, fidgeting with the straps on her bag absentmindedly. The three other girls glanced at each other, then Tara shrugged.

“Sure, why not?”

“Wait; there’s police tape, we can’t go in there! They can’t get any other fingerprints on it or anything if they’re still investigating,” Coraline said, looking at Samantha for backup.

Samantha looked back at the barn, then scanned the area for any police cars. She knew she should refuse to go in, say that it wasn’t right, but she couldn’t resist the temptation; it was like a child told not to eat any of the warm cookies.

“I say we go in. If you don’t want to, just stay out here and keep guard.” She brushed past Naomi and Tara as she walked in between them, leading the way into the barn. Tara and Naomi grinned at each other before following, Tara giving a quick pull on the leash to pull Jay along.

Coraline stood there alone for a moment, debating whether or not she should enter, when inside she heard Naomi’s voice call out ‘Wow, this is so cool!’ She sighed, knowing that there was no way her going in an off-limits barn would end well, before picking up an easy jog, calling out to the others to wait up.

Sorry if I'm making any of your characters act odd; they haven't done too much so I don't know how they should act yet. :?

EDIT: I fixed the names (I hope.) None really have much of a personality yet so it's hard to keep everyone straight.

*Um JFW1415? Your getting mixed up with the characters. Tara has the dog, not Coraline. I'll put my post for this tomorrow, just wanted to say.*

Hmmm....I think I should make the murderer more clearer. Instead of making it seem like randomness. I will give you a date and you should figure out what happened on that day. I think it will help.

July 23, 1967.

It is connected to the murderer in a direct way.

July 23, 1967, hu? Hhhmmm, I'll go look it up on the internet. JFW1415, it's alright, Coraline probably would have been like that, just don't make her really care about her appearance, and you fine.

Barnaby sighed and checked the bodys. Three bodys, all burned in a fire.

" This is puzzling..." He putted all the body's back in their slots and walked across the mourge to Willings raincoat. It was found right next to the car with a few noticable burns. He checked the pockets and saw some gum, a ID card, and a Picture of a woman....wait....

Barnaby looked at the back and saw a message written in blood:

Murderer Detriot July 23 1967....I'm sorry...

Barnaby then saw a almost image clip of Willings putting his finger in his mouth, writing in his own blood, and then putting it in his raincoat and throwing it away.
" Good boy willing's..." Barnaby sighed, He then ran the photo through the scanner and on the FBI's website.
He looked at the photo again. She was certainly beatiful. How doe's this connect to the murder of willings, and the other victims?

The murderer stood at the playground and gave the little kid a dollar. She thanked him and went off to the Ice cream man.
The murderer then pulled out a canister of pill's and took one. Then another, then another, then another...

Blair-

Blair threw her books into her backpack and then her cleats into her soccer bag. She still had an hour before she had to leave for school. She had gotten up to early again. She hated getting up early. It meant she would be the only one in the house and she would be conciously aware of it. Her uncle was at work and her aunt was at a doctor's appointment to see if the pregnancy test had been right last night. Blair sighed and looked out her window. She hated being alone, but it could have it's advantages. If her aunt really was pregnant then she would have to deal with the fact of having a small puking machine running around the house and crying into the late hours of the night. She needed to clear her mind.

Blair lugged both her backpack and her soccer bag down the stairs and flopped onto the couch switching on the tele. The news channel was on and there was some big fuss over some murders. She was more used to hearing about death on the news then most other people in this town, well she was more used to death in general than most people in this town. She had been the one to find her dead father in his office, three empty pill bottles in front of him.

Three people were dead, all burned to death in two seperate fires. Two people, a man and a woman, were burned in a barn; the other, a man, was burned in his car. They think there is a serial killer loose. In this small town? Well that's comforting.
All you need is 20 seconds of insane courage, and I promise you something great will come of it.

The murderer looked at the park and knew it was a beatiful day. The Sun was shining, the sidewalk's gleamed from the morning rain, and the children were playing with their fathers and mothers. Why can't everyday be like this?
The murderer sighed and felt at peace with himself.
His mother wanted him to become a child worker....Now look at him.
He felt the murder's hit him like a brick. He sucked it straight down deep.
He looked down the street and saw a chruch. He went inisde and sat down and listened to prayers.
He then went into the connfesion box.
" what is it you want to talk about my friend?" The priest said calmly.
" Um....I have done terrible thing's."
" What are these terrible things?"
" I....killed a man, 10 years ago."
" Why did you you kill him?"
"...Because he did something horrible to my Sister...he..." The murderer then began to cry.
" Please tell me, all your sin's shall be forgiven."
" I was sitting in my house....and suddenly my 12 year old sister came in...she was crying, she told me that a man was flirting with her. then...the man took my sister in his car and...." The murderer cheek's had tear's on them.
" Son, what you did was what any brother would have done. The man sinned and went down a path of destruction...it's terrible though that volience had to come."
" I tried to get the man in prison...but....he was freed. He got out because he was 17...one law stopped that sicko from going where he deserved."
" You did this in good intention. Did you turn yourself in?"
The murderer looked up and told the priest the honest truth.
" Yes...they allowed me to go early for good behavior and a merciful jury."
The murderer chuckled.
" How weird. I'm looking for a jury, and yet they are the one's who freed me from there."
the murderer wiped off the tears.
" Thank you."
" You can come anytime. The door's are always open for a soul like you."

The whole barn was taped off in yellow and white police tape. A slight fog covered the burt remains giving the barn an even more errie feeling as you walked nearer to it.

"Hey, wait up!" shouted Coraline.

Tara walked into the barn along with Samantha and Naomi, Coraline was just behind them. Burnt hay lay waste around the blackened barn. Its' red and white paint peeling off the outsides walls. Dried blood was caked on some spots of the inner walls.

Jay tugged at the leash, but Tara pulled him back. "This is pretty cool,"

The others nodded in agreement. Samantha strolled over to a chard gasoline can, bending down to see it better. A piece of rope lay only a few feet away. Cards with numbers on them were everywhere, probably to remind the investigators where the clues were.

Naomi ran around to the side of the barn, but soon coming back in. Coraline was looking with Samantha and Jay was having a fit about being on a leash.

A gruff voice came from behind them. "What are you kids doing in here?"

Coraline had to admit it was pretty cool in the barn, in an eerie way of coarse. A shiver went down her back, and it wasn't because of the clearing fog weather.

"What are you kids doing here?" a gruff voice asked, making Coraline jump out of her skin. Naomi turned around just as slowly as Coraline and Samantha did.

"Well...." Coraline said, almost choking over words as if they were as big and long as the rope by her feet.

"We were all running, and we saw the barn," Samantha said.

"We started talking by the barn, and I accidently dropped my leash."Tera said," While I was trying to grab the leash my dog Jay started running off into the barn, chasing a bunny."

*I know this isn't the best, and that it looks unfinished, so I'm sorry about that. Especially if your characters wouldn't act that way, it takes a while for me to get to know someone else's character.

There’s always a story. It’s all stories, really. The sun coming up every day is a story. Everything’s got a story in it. Change the story, change the world.
