My life in a boarding school

Colt didnt look up when he felt someone sit down next to him. It was a small someone though because the bench didn't really move. He finished his candy bar and then looked up and saw the girl. He was surprised because very few people talked to him. He hadn't seen her before though. This was probably her first year here.

"Your first year?" He asked looking into her clear blue eyes.

Tera-

"No. Well I'm not a freshmen. I just got transfered here." Tera answered.

She pointed to her 3 bags of stuff. He nodded." So, who are you?" He asked.

"Oh... I usually don't tell people my name until they tell me thiers...You know manners..." Tera sassed.

The boy grunted." Colt Ryder."

"Tera McIia." She responded.

She turned to face him." Hey do you want to show me around after I drop my stuff off?"

Colt-

Colt looked at the girl, she sure was gutsy. He laughed inwardly. "Sure, I'll help you carry those bags to your building, you'll have to get them to your room though." He said grabbing two of the bigger bags after standing up. Just cause his parents had been druggies and drunks that didn't mean that he didn't have manners. He had always had enough for him and his parents. "What building are you in?"

Frooloop looked at the ravenging Henry.
" You okay man? Dinner just started five minutes ago...and you are eating that thing like it was your last meal."
Adam sighed," Can you keep this a secret?"
The whole table leaned over to Henry.
" Sure."
" Um...ever heard of Naomi?"
" You mean that skater chick? Yea, she's not my type though."
" Well...she's my type."
The whole table then gasped.
" You mean you like the skater punk?"
" With a smoking body like that...yeah." Henry would have said that. But she was the enemy.
" The type that is asking for a good little jestering from the grand fool himself....the principal."
Frooloop chuckled and the whole table just went back to talking.
" How your going to do it?"
" I don't know...But it will be good!"

Whoa, this is too fast...I have to drop out.

Naomi~

Naomi skated towards the basketball courts, more skateboards in hand. Two of her friends, Jake and Rylie, trailed behind her carrying the ramps. Tyler and Trey were already at the courts, grinding on the rail when they got there.

"Ty!" Naomi smiled and handed him one of the skateboards, it had Tyler written in flames on the bottom.

"Here's everyone else's." She laughed and layed the other skateboards on the ground, exposing each design. The guys that were there grabbed one and began to skate.

After about an hour, Tyler finally asked, "So, when are we gonna get the skatepark here?"

"Don't know. I sent the principal a letter and all but haven't heard a thing back." Naomi replied.

"Weird. Usually he sends all responses back the next day." Trey commented as he did a kickflip. The skateboard slipped from under him, causing him to fall on his face. Naomi laughed and did her own kickflip landing perfectly.

"I know. By the way...you didn't put enough power in that." Naomi snickered as she preformed an ollie.

"Whatever." Trey laughed as he stood up.

Tera-

She smiled." Of course. Here follow me."

Tera lead Colt to the girls' dorm building.

(The Jax)

Some others were already there when I got there. I had a smaller board than most of the others, but that's 'cause my parents didn't want me to bring it, so I had to hide it.

I hung out at the edge, spinning a few butterflies and stationary sex changes, just waiting for someone to invite me in.

Naomi~

Naomi laughed as Trey snatched her board from her, she chased him down and stole it back. Just as she began to grind on the rail she spotted Jax in the corner of the basketball courts, on a small skateboard.

"Jax!" She called out. He looked up and waved. Naomi waved back and motioned for him to come closer. He did. The others slowly gathered around Naomi. "Jax this is the team. Team this is Jax." A few 'heys' and 'what ups' voiced from around her.

"Hey everyone," Jax greeted them. Naomi skated over to the pile of new boards and pulled one out.

"Here," she tossed him a new skateboard and smiled, "now show what you can do."

(The Jax)

I looked around at the patchy skate area. There were a couple of small ramps, a larger ramp, and a few rails. I stepped onto the board and pushed off. I took a rail first, doing a 180 degree spin in the air and landing on the rail for a crooked grind. Then I took one of the smaller ramps and popped off of it, doing a tailgrab with a spin in the air. Once I was on the ground, I did a quick ollie, then flipped the board around and landed on it.

I was almost done with my warm-up... with showing them what I could do.

I used my right foot to push me faster, faster, heading straight for the large ramp.

I had to do something fancy here... unfortunately, there wasn't enough air for a backflip. I took the jump, rising into the air, and did a trick I called the Orbit.

I spun a 360 in the air, while spinning my board around with my hand 360 the opposite direction. It was perfectly done, and I landed it.

But the ramp was too close to the basketball hoop, and I couldn't turn in time.

My board hit the pole, flipping me off, and I sailed through the air, landing hard on the concrete.

Damn, I thought. Should've worn a helmet. But the helmet my parents bought me for biking, boarding, and anything else was riddled with safety features... therefore it looked like crap. And it had been stuck in a dumpster months ago.

I couldn't tell where my board was, so I started to get up... well, I tried to get up. But then I blacked out.

Naomi~

Naomi winced as Jax hit the pole. "Ouch! He ws doing great too!" Tyler exclaimed.

"Dudes. He's hurt, bad." Naomi said urgently as she ran over to Jax. "Jax. Hey Jax! Can you hear me?" She flipped him over and patted him on the face. "Jax?"

"That was nasty. Look at the board!" Trey said, astonishment in his voice. Naomi turned around quickly to look, the board was...broken in two.

"Ugh! It doesn't matter about the board! What matters is we've got an passed out kid, sitting, or laying right here!" Naomi shounted. Jax grumbled something unintelligable, but didn't open his eyes.

Close to the courts she saw Frooloop talking with somebody. Great. Just what we need. Witnesses to tell what happened and why a skate park on school grounds isn't a good idea. Naomi thought as she tried to wake up Jax.

Finally, I woke up. I was bleeding in a few places, and I had a headache... but luckily I remembered everything that happened, so I hopefully didn't have a concussion or anything.

Argh.

Stupid pole.

If the ramp had been set just a little bit farther away, or turned a little bit to the side, I would've been fine.

It wasn't Naomi's fault--or anybody else's. Nobody had known that would happen.

I saw some teachers nearby. Not good.

Naomi and the others were standing by me, and one of them helped me up. I looked at the ground and saw my skateboard was snapped in half. Well, their skateboard. I felt guilty for breaking someone else's stuff.

Naomi noticed me looking at it. "Don't worry about the board," she said. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah," I replied. "I've taken worse than that."

I hadn't... on a skateboard. But there was once when I tried to do a backflip on a dirt bike. Luckily I was wearing a helmet then.

(Hannah and Ivy)


Hannah and Ivy had jumped when they had heard the loud bang from outside. After looking out the window they had tore out the dorm and began running down the stairs. Any thing for a bit of drama.

The girls past Satika half way down the corridor. She had shown them around in their first year. They often spoke to her and knew she wasn't a goth like she appeared.
"Hey, where are you two going?" Satika asked as they sprinted either side of her.
Ivy stopped. Hannah slammed into her and reeled back laughing.
"Jax crashed his board into a pole," Ivy said quickly.
She pointed out the nearest window.
"Oh I wonder what happened to him." Satika giggled.
"Well that's what we're going to see, wanna come?" Hannah asked.
Satika seemed to think about her options for a moment before nodding. Hannah and Ivy got ready to run again. Satika held up her hands.
"Only if we walk." She warned.

They walked into the sunlight. The skaters were only round the corner. Ivy recognised Naomi and some older people bending over Jax. Hannah stepped over half a skateboard and ran over. Ivy followed with Satika trailing after them.
"Ouch that looks painful!" gasped Ivy.

Naomi was startled to see other people behind her. The sisters were far from skaters. They were both dressed in short skirts and pink jackets and weren't carrying skateboards.

Jax coughed and groaned. He was holding his head. Naomi glanced back down at him and shook her head

I had gotten up, and finally, my head was clearing. I knew that I would be okay... I just hoped that my tricks looked okay. 'Cause if I had nobody to hang out with, I was done... I wasn't born to be a loner.

Three cute girls walked over, and Naomi talked to them for a few seconds. I was too far away to tell what they said.
