*Okay this is my first time doing a storybook so sorry if I do it wrong*
Plot: The world Aythel was long ago protected by a race of half-gods. They fought against evil, nurtured the world, and all that stuff. Since they were only half-gods their powers were limited, hard to control. They were long lived, but not immortal.
But eventually some of the half-gods got fed up with protecting the people of Aythel without getting anything in return. They formed alliances and plotted together, eventually succeeding in destroying the half-gods that stood against them. With no one left to oppose them, they took over the world, and named their organization Kraya.
To stop rebellion Kraya destroyed anything that had to do with the half-gods, and forbid anyone to speak of them on pain of death. But the stories continued, of brave heroes and kind champions, passed down in fearful whispers. From mother to child, and from that child to their children, and on down the generations, hope remained.
Since then a thousand years have passed, at the age of five all children are tested for Spirit Power. If they have it they are automatically enslaved by Kraya, and trained as soldiers, assassins, etc... The odds of a Gifted child, slipping through the tests unnoticed are slim to none, but it can happen.
Currently there is a small rebel force in the province of Rhestena. War is brewing on the horizon, will you fight for freedom. Or join Kraya in their dominance of the world.
