Dragon Riders

"North and South, you'll be glad to know," I said to her. "As if one direction wasn't difficult enough."

"W-w-what do we do?" Jade asked worriedly.

"We fight," I told her. "Simple plan. Although, admittedly, a slightly less simpleplan would be useful."

I looked round. "One of you must have a strategy." I said.

Jade looked to River, together in deep thought. Jade's immediate thought was that Wes would think of something. He got them this far, anyway.

North and south...

"I--" her voice failed her when everyone looked at her again. She cleared her throat and tried again. "We're not stuck in the middle, then? I mean, if they come from the north of us and south of us...will they not attack us on both sides once we're discovered? We'd have no where to run..." Jade fell silent and flushed at how ludicrous her idea might sound.

"It's a good point--"

"They don't have to be exactly north and south of us," Nina interrupted Trissa. "Think harder."

((I'll think of a "strategy" later ))

"I don't make strategies, I just go with the flow and hope to goodness that I survive." I said. "Can't we just move East or something? Or you know, attack from above, despite the fact I kind of lost my bow in the sea."

They all looked at her.

"Plans anyone?" said Nina.

Satika:

Oh no, Mika, I think we're lost! She cried out to Mika. Dont worry, I knwo where we're going. Mika purred softly back. Ok she thought to herself. Dragons do seem to have a sense of direction.

"Ok, Mika. Where are we going since you seem to know everything." She shouted sarcastically.

"To the little village just south of here." Mika roared over the wind "Maybe we might find someone to help us!"

oh god I hope so! She thought to herself. With her chin held high, she grabbed hold tight of Mikas scales and clung on. Looks like it might be a bumpy ride

*sorry didnt really know what to put....im hoping to land somewhere near yall......*

"I have a plan," Wes announced. Everyone looked at him. "They know where we are, but they don't know how many of us there are."

"So?" Nina asked.

"So, some of us will hide while the rest of act as bait. Once the enemy is close enough, we'll be the ones ambushing them."

River frowned. "It's a risky plan, but it's the best we've got."

Wes nodded. "I know. Zephyrus and I will act as bait. Who else is going act as bait with me and who's going to hide?"

"Oh I'll be bait, no trouble," I said. "Me and Sweep can move pretty fast when we want to."

"Right," said Wes and Zephyrus nodded [I was looking over that Latin poem today and thought of this Storybook btw, random piece of information].

"Where's everyone else going?" I asked.

**Just crashland in the forest we're making plans there...**

SAtika:

There was an odd glow coming from the woods below. They seemed to be getting closer and closer by the second. Mika. Mika are you awake? she asked her dragon. When there was no answer, Satika began to feel.....frustrated. Mika! Wake up befor.....

"Ahhhhhhh!" Satika screamed as they crashed into the forest near the light.

Sometime later, Satika awoke to find herself surrounded by trees. She could hear voices, and they were coming her way. She tried to get up but found she could not; at least not without having ot endure a horrible pain in her ankle. Looking around, she found Mika laying beside her wiht her head down.

"Mika?" She asked silently. At the sound of her voice, Mika lifted her head up. Satika let out a strangled sigh, thankful he was alright.


*hope this will do, cant think of anything else.*

**Okay Singer, you're brought in **

"Right." I said, getting impatient. "While you guys make the oh-so-difficult decision, we'll go have a look around, see how far away they are. Got it?"

"Don't go too far!" Wes called. "We don't want you getting attacked."

"Don't be ridiculous, Sweep and I can look after ourselves. Back in a flash."

I began to run and Sweep took off covering me from above.

I ran westwards a little, until we came into another glade.

"Wow," I said. "Sweep, get down here!"

I looked at the dragon just rousing.

"You'd better come with us." I said. "We need all the help we can get."

*ok....um im a little confused...sorry. was you refering to mika?*

Satika:

The voices got closer.

Mika! Theres someone coming! Lets get outta here before they find us! Come on! She urged Mika. Mika, being his usual self, took his time in getting up. Just as rousing, the voices they heard, turned into people.

Oh no! They've spotted us! She told Mika.

What do we do? Mika asked.

She hesitated at first, then yelled RUN! Too late. They were caught.

*ok hopw this works.*

The dragon and its rider began to flee.

"Oh no you don't!" I said, easily catching up with the girl. "Why're you running I'm not a demon."

"Oh, right, sorry." she said.

"I'm Trissa, this is Sweep."

"Erm...Satika. Mika."

I grinned at her and she smiled back nervously.

"Hi Mika." I said. I turned back to Satika. "We have to race someday. But meanwhile, we're in the next glade and we need all the help we can get. Come on!"

The girl bit her lip and looked like she wasn't going to follow us, so I grabbed her arm and dragged her with me.

**Sorry, this can all be happening while other people decide to be bait or to ambush, but she needed to be brought in!**

Satika:

The stranger grabbed her by the arm and dragged her.

"But wait, where exactly are we going?" She asked.

*sorry dont really have that much*

"I told you, just to the next glade. For some reason all the dragons turned up here today. Well, me and Sweep got a bit lost... but there's loads of us here... there's even Zephyrus, he's like Sweep's idol and-"

"Yeah, but why do I need to be here?"

"To join in the fun, obviously." I said rolling my eyes.

"What fun?"

"Demons."

"It feels so good to be fighting." said Sweep.

"Yup," I agreed. I looked at Satika. "Nothing like a good fight to wake you up, am I right?"
