I got something very similar to Evi just before, so I went out of YWS (didn't log out, though) and came back in. It, yeah, seems alright now, but it was really annoying just before (as bugs are!).

Sorry for the size, but there's a couple of issues. First is that the PM notice has pushed chat down. The second is the ad. >.> I remember there being some way to report inappropriate ads, but I don't remember how. It's not a huge issue since I'm of legal age, but that sort of thing is not the kind of think I like to look at.

It would appear User Stats don't count novel reviews. Which would explain why my review count is almost 200 less according to the stats' count than my review count. I know there's a note to expect some difference, but almost 200 is a lot. :P (I realized this after doing a review in Action/Adventure novels and noticing it didn't show up in my stats.)

Don't know if this is another site bug, but while I was browsing on YWS (that's all I had open), the whole computer died (error screen popped up in blue). Anyway, I'm going to log out and clear all browsing history, just in case.

Just thought to mention it!

Evi / Navita (1): Those weird messages in the header were a result of me turning the debug mode temporarily on. Now you know just how many bugs YWS has... ;)

Kyllorac: There isn't much I can do unfortunately. Google serves the ads by context, and without the domain name, I can't block it. However, that seems like something that slipped through the cracks as the family filter for Google Ads is turned on.

Rosey: Will fix that soon.

Navita (2): That sounds like a coincidence more than anything else; I don't think I was doing anything at the time that could've caused YWS to do that.

I tried to add two articles from the Writing Tutorials section of the Knowledge Base to a newly created anthology, but it claimed I had already added both of those articles to my anthology. I checked the anthology and they weren't a part of it. On three seperate articles it did that.

Also, I don't know why but from the Welcome Area you can access the Greeters subforum. It's not used anymore, but I thought it rather odd.

I was just in Randomness, and I found a sort of loop hole to the 15 minute rule.

If you don't hit reply, and instead hit quote, you can by pass the time restraint on it.

Okay, so I found a potential bug.

I tried to change the name of a usergroup that I run (Ranger's Apprentice). As soon as I changed the title and saved it, I couldn't find the group again. I searched under My Groups, but couldn't find it anywhere! Apparently one of the members had the same problem. I switched the group name back to what it was originally, and now it's showing up like normal. I don't know why it disappeared after I changed the name--is it because, technically, we were members of "Ranger's Apprentice," and not "Ranger's Apprentice fandom," so it didn't recognize us?

Thanks!

Time: 2:00 PM.

When I was typing a reply, the cursor dropped to the next line at a certain point.
I'm not sure what it is, but this was in the Fanfiction Novels forum.

My picture for some reason isn't uploading... I go to Edit Preferences and then Edit Photo, but when I use the browse button and open the file I want to upload, then click submit, the page loads for a few seconds, the stops loading and the file disappears from the upload box but no picture has been uploaded. I try refreshing the page and viewing my profile and everything, but I still don't have a "profile picture" (or whatever its called) or any other picture anywhere else for that matter.
Thanks for any help :)

Not entirely sure what you mean, but this is probably a computer problem not a YWS problem. My mouse pad/curse is really wacky because the touch pad is sorta stuck, so I can click things by pressing on the plastic next to the touch pad - so, not the touch pad at all! It might have been something like that.

And I have my own error! I've been noticing this for a while I was just too lazy because it's not a big deal? But now it's late, and I'm not asleep. So. If you click on "all forums" underneith YWS it looks like the attachment.

Mainly talking about the right box - how I don't show up as a user. And if I click the "new posts" link it doesn't go anywhere, keeps me on all forums. And yet, I'm not logged out? Because my name is in the top corner.

It was only one post in each. All my surprise and hope for nothing. *faux emoness*

I've noticed the same thing with the storybook notifications. It seems that instead of giving the posts since your most recent post, it gives the posts since perhaps your first post.

Also, an update on my previous note about adding topics from the Knowledge Base to an anthology. It seems I can add a topic from the "YWS" and "Miscellanious" and"Poetry Tutorials" sections of the Knowledge Base but not from the other two.

I clicked on my notifications and got this message:
