Thanks Adna for reporting that. It's fixed now.

On the Storybooks bug: It's not really a bug; the reason it shows up that way is the same reason why a post will stay in the 'View New Posts' area even after you've read it. Unfortunately, there is no easy to way to fix it either.

The way YWS tracks whether you've read a topic or not is through browser cookies. A site like Facebook, though, tracks whether you've read something or not through its database. The advantage of YWS' way is that it saves a lot of computing power. The advantage of Facebook's way is that 'new' stuff disappears once you've checked it. And of course, Facebook isn't as concerned with computing power as YWS.

But, the Notifications area is now updated so that anything with a new comment gets bumped up to the top of your notifications list. This should make things somewhat easier. If it's at the bottom of the list, then you've probably already checked it. But if it's at the top, it means it's brand new.

Hi Nate!

Vernon, Andy and I have all experienced the same issue today where some posts have a "needs to be approved" band over them. When you click on it, it takes you to a page saying you need to select an action first. This comes and goes, it's happened to me maybe three times; each time the entire thread -every post in that thread - had the same approval option.

It's the first time this has ever happened to any of us, all within the last two hours or so. Mine were in Poetry threads, Vern's were Storybook threads, Andy's was also a Storybook thread. Vern tells me that Nutty also experienced it while looking at a Poetry thread.

Andy is using Firefox, I am using Google Chrome, Vern is using Firefox as well, I'm not sure what Nutty uses.

Thanks, Penguin!
I like you as an enemy, but I love you as a friend.

Firefox. ^^ I can confirm it- It wasn't my thread, it was vernon's, and when he re-linked me it was gone.
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

The "Other" forum doesn't count for critiques!

I don't know what made that happen but I totally just freaked out because now my spreadsheet that I've been keeping track of my review numbers on is totally off. By about 24 reviews. *gasp*

I just looked in my portfolio and everything was gone, but it still shows up when you search it.

I just glanced into your porfolio and they showed up for me. Have you tried again? It might have just been a one time error kind of thing.

I don't know if you already know this, but when you look at anyone's Followers or who they're following on their Profile page, the condensed lists on the side freeze the GIF images (Or, whatever ones are the moving avatars, like mine and Snoink's). It only shows a single frame of the image.

Not very important, ja, but I might as well bring it up. 0.<

I tried to change the type of sorting in people's portfolios (to "sort by time") and it didn't change anything. Sort by time is really useful so if it's possible to bring back I'd appreciate it.

Oh I know what happened. The "sort by time" used to cover all literary works somebody had posted, whether or not they had been sorted into folders. Now it only sorts topics that you're currently looking at.

I've noticed that whenever you click on a new announcement, up at the top where it would normally say something like, "Return to The Lounge," or whatnot, it says this:
