If you go to Groups (or My Groups) there's a gray box in the bottom right-ish, under the user's avatar, their little user box, and the ads. The box says Featured Member as a title, and has three links: Profile, Portfolio, and Write in her Guestbook. There's no avatar or name that actually shows a featured member, and clicking on the 'Profile' link leads to the community forums, while clicking on either of the other two links leads to a nonexistent page. Just thought I'd bring it up.

Today at around 4pm (Canada - EST I believe) The site had a problem involving facebook due to my simple reading

It also happens when I try to open a third page in the blogs. Like I click 'Blogs' select an entry I want to read, but it won't let me comment or view another blog that is older. It says the same thing 'Bad Request'

I just noticed that the alert for the "star a work" button shows up in forums that don't have the option of starring work, such as Q & A.

EDIT- Removed my comment about the Info Desk. I should read announcements better...

EDIT 2- By the small "logout" feature at the top of every page, there is "You have points and -a number- reviews." I believe there should be a number of points as well?

Edit 3- Did I report this right as you changed it again?

Jiggity and I noticed that reviews in the Other forum didn't affect our review counts. Our points still went up after submitting the reviews, but the review count stayed where they were before we posted. So what happened:

Review count: 532
Typed up a review over 700 characters long. Posted the review.
Review count: 532 (rather than 533)

But Jigs confirmed that it's working fine in the poetry forums, so I assume the review count works fine in the fiction forums as well. Other (not Other Fiction/Poetry) doesn't seem to do anything about the review counts though.

Visit someone's profile such as Nate or JabberHut or anyone really, and mouse over the blog drop-down menu in the navigation bar. There're two links for "My Blog".

Dude, Rosey totally caught that like months ago. She's a bug-reporting machine :D

It's one of those bugs, though, that I'll probably just leave alone. I'm not sure what's causing it, and since it doesn't really effect that user experience, I'm not particularly inclined to fix it. Unless you give me 10,000 points... :smt029

That's how I'm going to fix bugs from now on by the way. Unless you give me 10,000 points, I ain't fixing anything. I'm going to be like the building supervisor who rants at you for bothering to live in a crummy building he owns and for which you pay $2000 a month.

Okay! This mostly amuses me, but when I look at my profile statistics, it doesn't tell me my most active forum. I am pretty sure that's because my mere profile terrifies YWS (I haven't seen this affect anyone else), but yep!

Yep, that annoys me too, but it's the way phpBB3 is designed. For anyone who has over 5,000 posts, it will not show you your most active forum or your most active topic. This is because at some point, the calculation the server needs to make because a bit onerous. Obviously, when someone only has ten posts, that calculation is pretty easy. But when someone such as yourself has 9000+ posts, that calculation takes a long time.

I've found a semi-major bug that I just tested. If you are actively logged in (ie- clicking around and showing up on the active user list), and somebody sends you a PM, you don't get the box at the top of the screen saying you have a new message. On the user menu there is a bolded alert for getting a new message, like there was before the New YWS got alerts for new messages, but nothing else. If, however, you get a PM when you're lot logged in, you do get an alert.

According to Conrad, you get an alert on another tab should you change pages/refresh that tab. But, since not all people have multiple tabs on YWS open, this lack of alert can be pretty bad.

EDIT- This also happens if you open a new tab on YWS. You'll get the alert then.
