I was thinking the other day as I got off the bus and logged onto YWS how I simply hate typing in www.youngwriterssociety.com. It's really long and sometimes I misspell it which sucks, xd. Also, I don't have favorites.

So why don't we get an icon like sites like google have that says:

Make this your homepage

That would be pretty convienient to those of us with crappy computers and outdated internet explorer.

You can set it on your own, you know. I have a really recent version of IE, but generally speaking, if you track down Internet Options you can change it from there.

Well, I made YWS my homepage. I wish I could remember how...but I did. :D

I'll get back to you on that one.

**Edit: For Firefox, I went to Tools --> Options --> Main tab --> type web address for desired homepage.
I make my own policies.

Yes, it's my homepage on FireFox.

With E just go into Tools-> Internet Options and I believe it is the first page there.

With FF, go to Tools-> Options -> Main

Or put it in your favorites! That's what I do. I've got a main list of sites I visit everyday, and folders for ones I visit less or might need to refer to later.

I just set YWS as my homepage too. It's like Suzanne said -- Tools -> Internet Options -> there's a box that you type your homepage into.
