(Just so we can keep the story going, I'm going to skip to Monday.)
Audra had finished her last class for the day and was heading down to the gym. Kai's last class for the day was P.E., so right now he was probably getting changed.
There was a bounce in every one of her steps. She couldn't stop thinking about him, how much she loved him, how much he loved her. It was like someone had written a love book about their lives.(*wink wink*) He had promised to take her to the movies tonight. Audra thought they might get a chance to fool around tonight. Okay, she hoped they would get a chance to fool around.
Meanwhile...
Kai finished dressing into his normal clothes. It was his turn to clean up the equipment after class, so he ended up getting changed last. When he got out of the changing room he saw a girl with long hair waiting for him. At first he thought it was Audra, but once he had a moment to really look at her face he knew she was someone else.
"Can I help you?" Kai asked.
"Maybe," she said as she strutted over. "Name's Camile."
"It's nice to meet you, Camile," Kai said, trying to be as polite as he could. "But I've got to go. I'm meeting someone after class."
"Oh, right. Audra. You two are pretty close, aren't you?" she asked.
"I guess you can say that," Kai said. He wasn't liking where this conversation was going.
"You know, you're really hot. Lots of the girls in this school think so. You can do a lot better than that fatso Audra."
Kai frowned. "She's not fat, and I'm not leaving her for anyone else."
Camile stopped strutting when she was in front of him. "I think I can make you change your mind."
Before Kai could say anything she grabbed him by the head, pulled him down and kissed him. Kai waved his arms around in the air, not sure what to do with them. He wasn't sure if he should try to pull away or push her away. He thought, the hell with it, and grabbed her shoulders and forced her away from his mouth.
He heard the sound of books hitting the floor. As soon as he looked over Camile's shoulder it felt like someone shoved a dagger through his heart. By the entrance, staring with wide, hurt eyes and parted lips, was Audra.
(How's that for a twist?)
