Addy-

It was then that I started wondering wha had happened to ellie after lunch. Jared looked at me and said, "didn't you hear? Ellie's dad..well he was murdered last night." I didn't even bother to answer I just ran.

I slammed the door, ran upstairs, and fell to the ground. I screamed and cried uncontrolably. I ran to my dad's room and screamed that it was my fault that he was murdered. All of a sudden I heard my front door open.

addy-

"ellie!" I screamed running through her house frantically. I made my way up to her room nearly tripping as I ran up the stairs. I swung the door open and there she was.

I looked at Addy and began to cry again.

Addy-

After ten minutes of hysterics ellie calmed downand I took her to my house. I got to her lay down on the couch and she eventually fell asleep. Both of her parents were gone now. What would she do. This was exactly what I talked about with it father. He agreed with me on the matter.

Haylen had hung that man nearly an hour ago and those stupid townspeople still hadn't found the damn body. But they would. Once he began his mad rampage and they tried to run, they'd find his rotting body hanging from a tree near what was once a bridge that would let them cross the deep ravine. But that rubble wouldn't help them. And soon they'd be trapped like rats. Too bad for them he was a cat. He was still in the police officer disguise, but he'd have to change. That was how it was. Haylen could never stay the same person very long. Too noticable. Hmm...what identity to steal now? He looked at the townspeople. Which identity would he grab today? He found his perfect target.

-Victims point of view-

Gregor Mandel was your average citizen of Blue Creek. His family had German realitives, he was rather rich, and he was owner of one of the many family run businesses in the town. His just happened to be a butcher shop. "Pops! I need a full ham!" Gregor's daughter called from the register. He nodded and headed back to the freezer.

Gregor never liked the freezer. It was too dark and depressing with all the frozen bodies hanging everywhere. But today it felt just a bit darker. As if someone besides the dead staring eyes of the cattle was watching him. A shadow passed in front of him. "Who's there?" He grabbed a knife that was sticking out of a cow.

"Only me..." He heard someone whisper. Gegror had thought that maybe it was just some kids, but this intruder was begining to scare him. "You scared yet butcher? You should be. Satan's come for you." The freezer door slammed shut.

"Oh my god! You open this door right now."

"What do you mean? I'm right here." Gregor screamed as he felt a blade peirce his back. He flung himself around to look at his attacker but the man only evaded him. Gregor felt a horrible pain in his leg. He fell to the ground. His fingers grouped for the wound but they only met thin air. That's when he realized his leg was gone. Blood spattered his face and he looked up. Hanging from a chain was his leg.

"Say goodnight butcher. Satan's judgement is upon you."

Ellie~

Ellie opened her eyes and saw Addy. "Addy? Wh-" Ellie stopped dead in her sentence as she remembered the sad news that was delivered to her earlier that day. Ellie looked up at Addy who had tears in her eyes. Ellie was always know as the happy-go-lucky kid. She couldn't cry now. Instead she simply smiled and out of nowhere said, "I need some ham." Ellie always used food to soothe her pain.

Addy seemed stunned as she said, "Ok, um let's go get some." Ellie nodded and stood up. They walked all the way to the butcher's store, which was down the street, and ordered a full ham.

"Pop's we need a full ham!" Elyse called to her father, Mr.Gregor. He nodded and walked to the freezer.

Haylen's face and shirt was covered in blood. He had just finished hacking off every single one of the butchers appendages off in the most painful manner. He had finished by strangling the man. Haylen the took a knife and stuck it through the mans arm to pin him on a chunk of meat. He stripped the man naked and took his clothes. He was now a butcher. Of course everyone would wonder where Mandel had gone, but they'd have to accept him.

Haylen as smart enough to not close the door all the way. He opened it and slunk behind the counter carrying a ham.

"Who are you?" A girl at the desk asked.

"Oh Mr..." He looked around the room for the man he just slaughtered's name. "Mandel." He found it on a bag the girl was holding. Mandel Deli. " He hired me awhile back. He wanted somemore help around here. I'm from out-of-town."

"And do where is he now?"

"Oh he went on break." Haylen would bolt the first chance he got. And then, just like usual, he'd make sure it looked like someone in the town did it. And then he wouldn't have to kill anyone else. The angry townspeople would do it themselves.

Ellie~

Ellie eyed the man suspiciously as he walked out the door. Out of town? I need to find out more about this guy.

"Here's your ham." Ellie heard Elyse say. She turned and walked out the door, ignoring her. Something about this man didn't feel right. She followed him, secretly. Where is this man going? He has already walked down the main street, went through all the small allies, and walked across the school baseball feilds.

If the girl following her was trying to be sneaky, it wasn't working. He was already planning a way to slaughter her in a dark alley. But he had to control himself. No killing until the began to hide like rats. The slaughter would begin soon enough. Haylen would act friendly, maybe convince her he wasn't what she thought he was. Then the moment would be his.

"Hey, you've been following me for awhile."

"Yeah, I know." She fell silent. Both himself and the girl had stopped. They were behind a building in a dark alley.

"Why?"

"I don't know. We must have the same way home." the girl grinned smugly.

"We must. I'm new in town. I don't really know anybody. Could you show me around?"

"I'm on to you." He could tell the girl immediately regretted saying it.

"Are you now?" He walked over to the girl. He slowly slipped the meat cleaver out of his sleeve. "What are you going to do about it? No ones around." The girl began to panic. No one would die today, but a kidnaping was sure to take place. He grabbed the girl by the mouth and smacked her upside the head. She fell limp in his arms. She wouldn't be a problem until she woke up. And she'd be in no place to hurt him.

Ellie~

Ellie opened her heavy eyelids. What happened? Then, Ellie remembered, the man in the butcher shop. That she had been following. He had taken a butcher's knife out on her, but after that in all went black. She tried to move her arms but something held them together. Same with her feet. She tried to scream but something was tied over her mouth along with her hands and feet. Rope! Ellie began to panic. Suddenly, she saw him. The man who looked very suspicious. She began to panic even more. Ellie yelled at the man who sat in front of her with humor in his eyes, but all that came out was muffled sounds.

"Stop fighting it. You know you can't get out. And even if you did, you're so far away from civilization no one would ever find you." The girls eyes widened. "You're wondering where you are, aren't you. I would too. It's only fair I tell you. You're currently sitting in what used to be and old factory, buried years ago by a sandstorm or something. I found an opening and went it. It seemed like a good place to live so I moved in. You like it? The themes dust and dead bodies." Haylen snickered. "And you want to know something else? I killed your father." That pushed the girl over the edge. She started jumping up and down on the chair, screaming at the top of her lungs (or trying to sceam). One of her hands came loose.

"Yes...kill me." The girl stopped. Why was this man telling her to kill him. "Kill me and I'll live in you. You're already a born murderer. Kill me and you'll become Haylen Richards, just like I did and the man I killed before him. Do it and you'll become great." The girl reached for a gun. Haylen smiled. She's going to do it...He thought to himself. She aimed the gun at him but slowly turned it.

"No!" The girl was going to commit suicide. He pushed the gun down as soon as she fired. The bullet only hit the girl in the arm. She screamed once, and fainted.

Ellie~

Ellie woke up a while later. Her arm was throbbing in pain. How stupid am I? Ellie knew she could of killed that man. She just didn't have the will power. Her hand that had held the gun was still loose. Without thinking she began to untie the ropes. Then she remembered what the man said, even if she was to get away she was still far from civalization. What's the point? She thought as she let her hand fall from the ropes. The looked up and saw the man...er...Haylen, as he said his name was, sitting a few feet away still watching her. "What do you want?" She asked.

"Nothing." He spat at her and tied her hands back up. "I'm going back into town. You need me to pick up anything like milk, or ham?" He snickered and walked away.

"Yeah! An actual explanation to why you are doing this!" Ellie called after him. The man stopped dead in his tracks and turned around with a humorous smile, as if he was going to laugh at any given moment.
