Hello, everyone. Allow to me introduce myself. Mi allmo, Selen. For all who do not speak Spanish, that means, my name is Selen. (Pronounced like Selene. People just don't get that for some reason.) You may call me either Selen or Simone. Which ever you like.

I have recently(just today) join the YWS. I am hopping to better my writing, and share a few works of my short stories I have written.

I am fourteen, and live in the U.S. I can be a bit dark, especially when I'm in a bad mood.(I normally don't bring my bad mood to the computer) But I'm mostly a nice person. I try to keep all my comments to myself, but not all the time. Well that's about all you need to know about me for now.

Welcome to YWS! New members are so great... If you have any questions or need help finding something, feel free to come find me, or any of the other mods (We're all in green, so it isn't too hard to find one of us!) and we'll help you out!

I hope you enjoy the site. What kinds of things do you write? And what do you like to read? The usual questions. ^_~

Well I like writting supernatural things. Vampires, werewolves, etc., etc. Things like that just intrest me. As for what I like reading *ponts to what I like writing* Same thing. My favorite books are Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Tantalize. Not all in that order. I'm a huge Stephine Meyer fan.

I am currently working on a new story I just started today. I had a bit of lost muse for a while after I wrote one of my stories. For some reason, I think I best when I walk home. Which is when I got my idea for my new story.

One other thing about me: I tend to talk a little too much about things that are of no importance. Like this: This pizza that I am eating, is kind of nasty.

Nasty pizza... not cool.


If you like vampires, you should ditch Meyer and pick up Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice. She's impressive, and really, she brought vampires to be what they are now, usually. Yummy guys in lace, haha. She is a very talented writer, although more adult than Meyer, so perhaps not? *shrugs*

I've only watched the movie, never read the book. I want to read it though. But I couldn't give up Stephine Meyer. I love the characters too much. Thats where I get some of my insperation for my vampire characters.

I feel so welcomed now. *wiggles* I wiggle when I'm happy. I got that from my dog(yes from my /dog/). When he was happy, he'd wiggle his whole body. It was sort of a monkey see monkey do thing.

And there I go again talking about things that don't concern you people. I really have to learn to shush my mouth some times. *covers mouth*

I have one question though. When I want to post one of my story's, do I put them in the writers cornor, or some other place?

The answer to your question is yes, the writers corner is the place for writing, (it sort of makes sense when you think about it) but I can see why you're confused. When I first came here, I was completely disorientated.

I love the supernatural, I don't write about it, (I'm a fantasy girl) but I love to read and watch movies about it.

Don't worry about the talking thing, that's usually a sign of a person with a good imagination who has a lot to say, and when you have those two things you tend to be good at the writing side of it too.

I'm really keen to get to know people so if you ever want to talk have a story critiqued/reviewed (same thing) then just PM me whenever you feel the need.

I like to write a little, but my heart really lies in writing music. Nonetheless, I do believe some of my talent in the music department has carried over into word format, because even I like most of the stuff I write (unlike most of my music, which people still like).

The answer to that is:

There is a literary forum. That is where you post your stories. There are: Poems, Fiction, Non Fiction and Misc. There are different types of Poems (narritive, descriptive) that you would place it in, and the same being for Fiction (action/adventure, romance). Be sure to post it in the correct forum.

Oh, goodie! Spanish! Thank you for translating that. I'm still only in my first year of spanish. And I only knew a few of those words.
