Are we supposed to say our longest story? Like how many characters it has or something...

Gwen> Nope, this thread is for NaNoWriMo, AKA, National Novel Writing Month. Since you're asking about the thread, I'm assuming you haven't heard about it. Go here for more information: http://www.nanowrimo.org/faq

It's a yearly contest were people all across the world try to write a novel of 50,000 words in one month. Here, everyone is posting their current word counts.

Speaking of that! 17, 473. But, I did it in a writing sprint, to force myself to start it, and I have to admit I think it is really bad. I KNOW it is my first draft but I'm incredebly temped to go back over it and edit it? I might as well. hahah. It's not like I'm editing everything... just, the writing sprint made this suuuuuck.

What's a writing sprint? Sounds fun! I'll get more words that way!

Anyway, I'm at 15,132! Yay! I am at the quarter mark...or am I? I don't care. Anyway, my English teacher says that she'll give me xtra credit for doing this. Isn't that awesome?
Just write -- the rest of life will follow.

Would love help on this.

A writing sprint is something I started doing last year. I probably have told you about it already. I set my clock for 15 minutes and then force myself to write. I kind of hate it but it gets it done, and that is what matters.

woooo 20,018.

I did none of my homework tonight. yay!

Ooo-er. I was stuck this week, so far...and look what can be done when one starts rambling about how one's main character's parents met.

...not that it was a great scene or anything. Just very rambly. XD

21,400.

Hopefully I'll get to 25k by tomorrow. I'll rephrase that to when I finish writing later. Who knows how long 25k might take me...

16 465.

Was way from my computer all of yesterday because I had loads of homework I stupidly didn't do in the 6 days I got off school. So no writing yesterday, about 400 words so far today, I want to get to 17k by the end of the day

Today was only a half day so I didn't have as much time to write in class. Plus I had a bunch of things to do today so I had no time to write at all. X_X
