Clearing my cache is kind of annoying... I've had to do that for all the image changes over the past few days. Hmph.

You shouldn't have to refresh the cache; refreshing/reloading the page nearly always works.

If refreshing doesn't work, I think that you can force refresh most browsers, but I can't remember how to do it off the top of my head.

(So, wait, the Lounge and stuff is "free" now?)

I don't mean to be a pain, but the new domain doesn't work.

Other than that, I love the new template. A dragon at last! I sense the beginning of an uprising...

The new domain works, but there may be a delay in the name servers. If it still doesn't work in a couple days, let me know 'cause then there probably is a problem on my end. My hope with it is just that YWS will rank higher on Google UK if it has a UK address.

On Free Posts ->> Meep is right; posts in The Lounge are now essentially 'free.' Until at least November 23.


On the Dragon ->> Thanks for the good comments on the logo! I just noticed the coloring is off for the dragon part and the rest. Didn't notice it on my desktop, but it's very noticeable on my laptop. I'll have to fix that later.

If anyone can find good pictures with dragons, I'd be willing to have more logos with dragons as I had a lot of trouble finding good pictures. Even better would be a picture of a knight fighting a dragon.

I love the dragon and the yin and yang symbol!

It's really not polite (or, you know, legal) to use someone else's art without their permission. Now, if I made a personal site with their picture, chances are lawyers would not be involved. If they found out, I'd probably get an email saying "hey, that's my art, either take it down or pay me for it." YWS, however, is a fairly well known site and so the chances of the artist finding out is higher, and there are more damages because of how many people use the site, the ads on the site generating money, etc., etc. It isn't pretty. (Also, think of it as someone using your writing for something without your permission. Not Groovy At All™.)

(I hope people don't read this as me picking a fight. I'm not. I'd just hate to see YWS run into trouble over something silly and preventable like copyright infringement.)
