We all have them.

Those television shows, movies, books that are designated for a group of people that you generally despise. Reality shows you can't get enough of, cheesy and redundant sitcoms, cliche books and movies where the plot is obvious and yet...

you find yourself watching it, reading it, over and over again.

What T.V. shows/Books/Movies do you have that you're ashamed to put on your favorite list?

Come on, out of the closet.
I'm not even angry... I'm being so sincere right now.
Even though you broke my heart.
And killed me... And tore me to pieces.
And threw every piece into a fire.

Well, I'm out an proud of being an X Factor fan - although those of you outside the UK probably won't have a clue what I'm talking about. Basically, it's our successor to Pop Idol, and is now in its fourth series, and just as good (or crap) as it was when it started. I also love I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, which is a reality show in which they put celebrities in the Australian jungle - it's still hilarious now!

Apart from that, I don't really have any shameful TV secrets - oh, apart from Hollyoaks - it's just the best soap ever!!
There's always been a lot of tension between Lois and me, and it's not so much that I want to kill her, it's just, I want her to not be alive anymore.

Hollyoaks! It's so absurd you have to love it!

I really like all the kiddies programmes, I tend to watch CBBC more than anything else.

Oh, and police camera footage shows as well! I'm a sucker for them, even though they're all the same.
please grant me my small wish; (love me to the marrow of my bones)

I've got;

TV;

Gossip Girl
America's Next Top Model (sometimes I walk out on it, but not usually)
Still Standing--Standard sitcom.

Movies;
The Holiday

Those are mine. Kinda sad to admit it since I'm such a Family Guy/ Reaper/ Supernatural/ Smallvill fanatic. Still, cannot help what you like, eh?

Girls In Love is a good show. I'll not admit that to anyone I'll ever meet, but it is. :wink:

I used to be reluctant to admit that I like Avatar: The Last Airbender, because it was aimed at children of about age 10. Now, however, I don't care. It's a great show that everyone should watch.

I also like Robbie Williams and once bought an Avril Lavigne CD.

I'm glad none of my friends will ever see this.

"Trading Spaces" is one. Home redec show. I hate it, but....it's hypnotizing, darn it! >.<

That and "Naruto". The sheer ninja-ness of it keeps me under its spell. :*stabs Naruto*:I hate the main characters...aside from the bad-guys...I hate the predictable-ness of it, and I hate the repetitive themes.

But I still watch/read it for Konan and Pein! :*Dies*:

I love to watch E! I hate celebrities. I think celebrity news is just stupid, fake news that takes the place of real, important news. Yet I watch E! whenever something juicy is on.

The one show I really love on E!, though, is The Soup. Joel MacHale is awesome.

Oh god, there are so many things out there worth being ashamed of.
I'll drop a post just to prove I'm man enough for it.
I still watch Arthur, the kid's show on PBS.
I saw Freaky Friday and I enjoyed it.
I listen to Ashlee Simpson.
I listen to Avril Lavigne.
I listen to Coldplay.

...and people ask if I'm straight.

Let's see now...most of these are general categories, but I will give examples too:

I laugh at Billy Connolly, even the dirty jokes that would shock my mother XD
Fluffy romantic comedies such as "Music and Lyrics," "Kate & Leopold," "The Runaway Bride."
Arnold Schwarzneger films.
Die Hard 1-3.
Bad sci-fi (*cough*Original Star Trek*cough*).
I still watch cartoons. And by this I mean things like SpongeBob, Winnie the Pooh movies, The Incredibles, Yu-Gi-Oh, Totally Spies...
For some reason, I feel guilty for loving Supernatural and Smallville so much. Especially since I hate the characters in the latter with a passion.
Disaster movies, the more wildly implausible and cliche the better. Yes, I'm talking about "The Day After Tomorrow" and "Volcano" and "Posiedon" and so on. Sometimes I even watch them more than once.

I'm sure I'll think of more soon ;)
Got a poem or short story you want me to critique?

As a guy, i always thought those modelling shows that make you feel inadequate are fun. Some of the girls are soooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful. Which is good, and the photo's are funny. So yer, America's next top model is a laugh.

Lol, I like the show "Veronica Mars" even though it's aimed at high school aged girls. There's some very clever writing there, though, so I don't feel really bad about that one.

I watched the first season of "Survivor". I also watched "Rock of Love" on VH1. *dies*

I watch 'NEXT' and 'elimidate' when there is nothing else on, even though I frown upon MTV with all my might. I often wonder where they find those people. It's like a bad car wreck, it's horrible but you just can't look away.
