Slippery When Wet

Well.

It's been awhile since I've actually been active at a forum, so I though I'd give this one a shot. Fits well enough for me, as I do like writing. I've several fanfics floating around (in various states of completion) and a fantasy novel under serious editing overhaul. I also write poetry here and there, among other things.

Okay, interrogation time, Hehe;

What kind of musci are you into? I like anything really, just from soft rock to slight pop and I'm also partial to a little bit of screamo. Mindless Self Indulgence, Breaking Benjamin and With Broken Wings... What a selection. Hehe.

What films are you into? My choice is plain and simple; I love comedies. I also don't mind watching films that make me jump but I don't like all these films with blood and guts.

Greetings there. Even though I might be wrong, I'd say this guy likes, or at least knows Bon Jovi, who published an album called "Slippery when Wet" sometime. Enjoy the forum.

Dunno where slippery when wet came from, actually. Simply random. I know of Bon Jovi, of course, but the 80's aren't my favorite music decade. He has some decent songs, though.

As for music … I don't typically limit myself to genres, but I have some favorite bands/artists, including Jimmy Buffett, the Beatles, the Barenaked Ladies, Nickel Creek, and a handful of others. You should see my iPod, though. The continuity is non-existant.

Movie-wise, I'm also rather open. But I'm not fond of stupid, plotless action movies.

Funny you should say that, St. Razor. I'm going to be at the Buffett Concert in Las Vegas next weekend. I've been to four or five prior, all in Las Vegas except for once at Alpine Valley in WI. The concerts are amazing. We all love dressing up ridiculous-like.

Anyway, thanks for the greets, you guys.

My dad is going to that concert! He's taking his girlfriend, though, and leaving me behind. Ah well. I've been to a few JB concerts. Boy, are they an experience. Last one I went to, there was a guy about ten seats down from us wearing a coconut bra, a grass skirt, and khaki shorts. Not to mention he was old and fat. Highly unpleasant, but highly amusing. xD

Yeah, they're very unique. Usually, like, a large fraction of the crowd is under the influence. We've gotten a few beers spilled on us, to say the least. Though the Las Vegas concerts are better than most, as they have actual assigned seeting. In Alpine Valley the lawn seets are fair game. So basically you stake your claim an hour beforehand, than you still get overun by a bunch of drunk guys at the last minute. =P
