Would anyone mind if I got rid of the preferences in the profile control panel? "Always show my e-mail address" and "hide your online status" would still be there, as well as some of the other preferences, but I would like to get rid of the ones for private messages, attach my sig, allow bbcode, and allow html.
Here's my reasons...
- Private messages options are either obsolete or don't work. For instance, there is no pop-up window if you recieve a private message, even if you allow such a window to pop-up. Also, the e-mail notification does not seem to work too well either.
- Allow bbcode: I think everyone allows this
- Allow html: Html isn't allowed at all, so this option is just silly.
- Board language: English, that's it. Nous ne parlons pas le francais.
- Attach sig to every post: This option is redundant as you can choose to not attach your sig whenever you make a post.
I want to do this just to make it easier to use, but is there anyone against removing any of the above options?
