Have you ever missed someone so bad that it made you feel like you were dying inside?

Tori: Oh, yeah. The summer before my freshman year in high school I toured with a teen theater group all summer putting on the musical Fame. I didn't get to see my friends all summer and they are my entire universe so it was really, really hard at first but I made new friends in the cast so it wasn't as bad. But I still missed them sooooo much. The same thing happened the next summer when I went to San Diego for the summer to be Maria in West Side Story and it wasn't as bad because I had done it the previous summer and I wasn't as far away. Also, when my boyfriend Shawn moved back to San Diego, I missed him a ton cause he had leukemia and I wanted to be able to be there for him but I couldn't be.

Amy: Wow, way to tell your life story. Um, I've missed people quite a bit before but never to the point where I felt like I was dying. *thoughtful* I'm pretty optimistic so when I really miss someone I just think of something good about it and it makes me feel better.

Madison: Well, my boyfriend Alekzander goes to college in New York and since I live in Long Beach the long distance thing is really tough sometimes. The time difference makes it hard to talk to him and letters and emails can only do so much. I spent pretty much every minute of the summer with him so when he had to go back to school it was like he took a piece of myself with him. I miss him so much it does feel like I'm dying sometimes.

Emilee: I agree with Amy. I'll miss people but I don't think I've ever felt like I was dying inside. It's hard for a while when my friends first go away but after a while it gets easier.


If you suddenly found out you were moving across the country (whatever country that may be), what would you do? How would you react? Who would you tell first? (I know that's more than one question but they go together to answer it...you don't have to answer all of it if you don't want to.)

Tori: Oh, my gosh, chocolate! Chocolate or ice cream. The other day I saw this amazingly awesome looking new ice cream, I think it was called triple chocolate chunk brownie explosion. Does that sound good, or does that good? I bought it and I can't wait to try it.

Amy: *shaking her head and smiling* You're weird Tori. Curly fries for me, or really anything deep fat fried.

Madison: Ice cream. That chocolate stuff sound amazing, Tori.

Tori: See Amy, Mads thinks it sounds awesome too!

Emilee: Yeah, I'm gonna agree with that chocolate ice cream.
