I slipped out of the class when the bell rang, relieved to exit the classroom. The hallways were packed but somehow I managed to squeeze through and I flipped my timetable open as I walked. Scanning it briefly, I saw that I had drama next. Always a good subject for someone who's spent their whole life pretending to be something they aren't.
Smiling, I ducked and dived past people until I reached the canteen where I bought myself a chocolate muffin before heading off again. The drama studio was in a seperate building and I devoured the muffin as I walked along the path, wishing I could remove my shoes and allow my feet to sink into the soft, springy grass that lay to my left. I resisted the temptation and entered the spacious drama studio, eager for the lesson to begin.
