Me? Are you being serious? You have too much faith in my ability (or rather lack of) my friend. But I suppose I can try...
Arianna
The meeting was starting to disintegrate as murmurs of dissent circulated.
"Let's go, no one's coming," Lucy decided.
"Alright," I replied. We turned towards the door which was still closed though many other were approaching it. There was a loud thud. I paused and directed my eyes to the roof of the church. Again, more thuds and I thought I could make out the beating of wings but cats aren't known for their accurate hearing.
"What was that?" I wondered. Smash. The broken glass tinkled to the floor and a huge, ugly bat fell through, landing on the cold, stone where it morphed back to human form - a young, pale man unmoving, surrounded by a pool of sticky blood. Before there was time to approach him, more of the bats crammed through the entrance they had created, changing to vampires and dropping to the floor in front of us.
"I thought vampires couldn't enter churches!" one girl panicked as our group began to disperse more rapidly, people and creatures running in all directions. Amidst the chaos, I took on my human form to avoid being trampled.

Lucy turned her head to get a better view of the situation, and saw the boy trying to open the door was being approached from behind by one of their attackers. Lucy threw out her vectors and slung the thing across the room, careful not to hit any of her fellow students. The boy turned, his eyes wide with shock.
"Ari, how many are there?" Lucy asked quickly, her eyes darting from one corner of the large room to the other students. Some were unsure of what to, or maybe just shocked at their sudden appearance.
She paused for a moment,"Eight, I think. They move around too quickly to keep a steady count." Arianna stood back to back with Lucy, both of them crouched in a defensive stance.
(OK, I'm gonna let the other characters post from our two posts.)
A smile crept onto Max's face. He loved a challenge, and what more of a challenge then 8 vamps? He grabbed a knife from his leg, grabbed onto Kristiana, and jumped into the air.
"What are you doing?" she yelled.
"I fly, you kill!" he yelled, enjoying her being so close.
A wild look went into Kristiana's face with that dagger in her hand. We swooped down, and she stabbed one right in the heart.
<Huzzah this calls for a celebration. but never mind me, i get the idea that i might be going too far....so here's a passive one.>
Robin blinked. It was still dark. His vison returned slowly as he looked around at his surroundings. Yes, he could see it now. He was still in the derelict school compound.
'So they didn't kill me?'
That surprised him more than he thought, until he felt a little stng on his neck. A certain horror came up in his mind even before he raised his hand to feel it. his skin was a little tight and pulled at the side and just there....his eyes flew wide....were two distinct punctures. 'The death mark,' he thought, remembering the phrase that his master liked to use about the bite of the vampire.
'I've been bitten.'
He said it aloud ,thinking slowly, something that he did not do normally. And then he remembered his master.
'They must have come in great force if they thought of leaving the descendent of van helsing alive. i have to reach them. oh god, i hope i'm not too late.'
he tried to open the door. he was in an empty class room with wooden floorboards. the doors in question were jammed.
'Hmmpph,' he breathed, 'this is not going to stop me.'
He walked a few steps back and rammed the door. It didn't budge.
'Ouch' he said clutching his shoulder. From the other side he heard, 'Awake, are you? I thought you were dead. Lady Isabella has gone on an errand and you are going nowhere.'
The vampire gave a horrible little giggle.
'Shit,' Robin cursed, forgetting what his master told him about 'Shit' and the like, 'they always leave me with the pansies.'

I stood back to back with Lucy and breathed deeply, calming my nerves as one of the creatures approached. I heard a scuffle behind me and realised that Lucy had already begun combat with one of the other vampires. I took another deep breath and then the man before me lunged, his hands striking out to grab my shoulders. Except that I was already dropping to the floor and sweeping his feet out from under him. He fell and sprung back. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me forward, a sneer on his lips. He drew me towards him and for just a moment I didn't want to fight him. Staring into those liquid, amber eyes, I relaxed.
The man carressed my chin with a smooth, pearly hand and knocked my head to the side. I obeyed, willingly revealing my neck to him. He pulled me closer, strong hands wrapping around my body as the tip of his tongue crept across my neck, savouring the tender flesh.
"Bite her damn it, bite her! We don't have time for that!" a female vampire screeched and with that, the illusion was broken. I struggled in his grip, pulling my head back, far from those teeth and groping for the dagger at my belt.
"Thanks a lot," the vampire snarled as his eyes sought mine but I looked down, kicking violently at his shin. The hand clutching my arm edged closer to my shoulder and I whipped my head to the side and sank my teeth into him. Hard. He swore and I broke away.
"See how you like being bitten, creep!" Lucy shouted, turning and thrusting a blade through his chest.
"Thanks," I replied, finally able to withdraw my dagger.
Figuring out the situation he quickly switched his forms, just in time for one stupid vampire to try and kill him. He growled with such anticipation before closing jaw over the lanky vampire's neck. The boy froze and looked at him. So young... He crushed down on the creature neck devouring the meat and blood with bestial pleasure. Senna was still next to him, she mentioned nothing about his cruel streak, "There's more!" He nodded and leapt to and fro until he stood on rafters. Sliding into shadows he moved across the wood and down behind a female vampire with short red hair, curled up. She didn't see him so moving hands out the shadows he broke the creature neck before devouring the throat.
This was all the young kids doing he knew that. Robin was his name, he remembered. Well he'd sure make sure that this boy learnt to respect his elders. Chuckling to himself he glanced round seeing Senna safe.
Changing form again he leapt over to Senna, she jumped and smiled as he approached saying, "I'd kiss you but, your teeth."
He laughed he'd dispatched enough foes for now and he had to keep her safe. If anyone really needed help wasn't too hard to act.

The one she had been tying up with was getting on her nerves. It seemed as if the thing was trying to aggravate her instead of get it over with. It threw its head down at her in an attempted head-butt, but she met his face with the palm of her hand and threw him down beside her. He stumbled, but quickly spun to face her again, this time filled with determination to get at her neck.
When the vampire lunged at her, she quickly extended one of her vectors, lodging it around his cold dead heart. He froze immediately, his fangs beared at her, face frozen with shock. With a slight jerk, she snatched his heart from his chest and it flew across the room, splattering her with blood. She had to speak to her friend to keep from losing her control now.
"Arianna, I think there's only three left now." Her hands were slowly forming fists as she tried to fight it off, shudders flowing through her arms and her chest. "They're hiding somewhere." She did not turn to face Arianna; Lucy didn't want her friend to see her this way.
"But where?" I mused, turning in a slow circle to inspect the room. When I reached the half way point where Lucy was in my sight, I paused. She wasn't facing me but her whole body appeared to be shaking, trembling.
"Lucy, are you okay?" I asked.
"Fine. We have to find them," she replied, still not turning. She began to check under the rows of pews and I followed her, half heartedly looking but also hovering just behind her, ready to catch her should she fall.
"Watch it!" a very hairy man snarled as Lucy almost tripped over him.
"Sorry," I mumbled, taking hold of Lucy's hand and guiding her away. "Come on, sit down. They must have flown away."
She sat in one of the pews that Arianna had led her to, in no mood whatsoever for dealing with those stupid humans. It was in her genetics to hate them, to kill them, but she had gone through a certain program to prevent such thoughts. Although, during times of violence, she often lost control and wanted to do that which she had been taught not to.
She placed her hands on the back on the pew in front of her, gripping it tightly. Her teeth were grinding together as she fought it back, when Arianna turned to her.
"Uh, Lucy...They're gonna need that pew tomorrow." Arianna's gaze fell down to Lucy's hands, where the wood was cracking and splintering beneath them. She reached out slowly and touched the back of Lucy's hand. Reflexively, Lucy jerked her hand away from Arianna and cringed. When she saw the look on Ari's face, her violent side seemed to reside and cool off.
Senna followed Anderson down a hall way and into a place with several pews. A discarded corpse caught her eyes. Blood drenched the body. She licked her lips without knowing and felt like devouring it. What the heck was happening to her? She looked around for anything that might harm them. She had felt the urge to join in the fighting but she had nothing to fight with. Nothing to defend herself with. She clutched to Anderson's arm as something moved in the shadows next to them. He led her to the middle of the room to where they were in the light and could see everything around them.
"Why are those things attacking us?" She asked in a wisper,
"I don't know, I think they want to get rid of all of us, but I don't understand why." He replied looking around,
She thoguht about the corpse she had seen earlier. Should she tell him about what she had felt or would that just make things worse. Her thoughts were interupted by him leaning over and kissed her passionately, "I'm going to look around, but I know that dick Robin responsible, least I have you now Senna." He smiled she'd rarely seem him smile and for a brief moment his eyes lighten to dark green before changing back.

Lucy flinched away from me and cringed but she seemed to be calming down and as her breathing steadied and stabalised, I took a seat beside her and tucked some stray hands behind her ears. The touch seemed to register in some deep recess of the girl's mind and she leaned against me, seeking comfort like a child. I ran my fingers through her hair, gently tugging at a not or two and then slipped the arm around her shoulders.
"Why doesn't someone get that door open now?" I asked the room in general.
"Yeah. The door," one avian mused, unfurling his wings so that he could reach the shattered window. Flying through, he slipped out of sight for a few minutes but then a collective sigh was released as the sound of a wooden latch being removed could be heard.
"Come on, Lucy, let's get you home," I helped her stand and together we headed out into the night. "Or would you rather ring your parents and spend the night at mine?"
"I think...That'll be...cool." She exhaled largely, letting her breathing calm her down. She stood from the pew and followed Arianna out, stepping away from severed body parts.
"Would you like me call your parents for you?" Arianna asked Lucy outside the church, stopping to make sure she was OK.
"No. Let's just go ahead...to your house." Her voice was still broken by the unsteady breathing, but not quite as bad. Arianna hesitated, but nodded and took Lucy's arm, walking away from the church.
"This way... I think," I mumbled as we traversed the streets.
"You don't know... the way... to your own house?" Lucy asked.
"Sure I do," I replied, "but I'm used to flying. Ah, there it is!" I pulled her in that direction and dragged a key from the depths of my pocket. We had to push past some rather overgrown plants to reach the door and then gently sweep aside some pretty wall creepers that had become tangled around the handle before the lock was revealed.
"Who's there?" My mother's voice called as I turned the key and pushed the door open.
"A friend's staying the night," I answered, leading Lucy in.
