ummm question

what are the points for?
and what is any easier way to post pictures on here because it's hard!

Points are for bragging rights. Look at the information desk forum for more info on that.

And pictures can be either downloaded to YWS or hosted off a remote hoster, like photobucket or imageshack. If you are more familiar with those two sites (or another website that allows image hosting) go with those and just put [img]url%20of%20image[/img]

This from the points pop-up that you'll find if you hit the question mark button in the featured member area of the home page:

Points are used to help determine the featured member. They are also used to post in certain forums on the Community page. To earn points, simply review stories/poems, join a usergroup and post there, or post in any forum that says "You can earn points here." The maximum per post is 50 points.

Every two weeks, all points will be reset to 500 after the featured member is chosen.

The more active a member you are, generally the more points you will end up getting.
