How long do you spend

Writing each day?

I can do from absolutely nothing to hours upon hours. Some days I find writing even a sentence a real struggle, and other days I can just write and write and write.

I always seem to have writer's block. I know what I want to write, but I just can't write it.

Usually I don't write much. I usually just do random character development exercises until I get bored and move on to something else.

It helps in the long run, though. But it is a habit I want to break.

(In a roundabout way, the answer to your question is technically not even traceable amounts since I always scrap what I do.)

Exactly the same with me. The reason I was gone so long was because I was in one of my "can't write" moods for a record time.

Between one line and six pages. Depends what kind of mood I'm in, some days it can be nothing at all.

Erm.....I don't even write daily. When and if i am inspired...which isn't that often. But sometimes I'll have random boosts of determination and can write a whole short story or a good few pages. But on average...about a paragraph I'd say.

Depends on the day. When I'm in a time crunch or am determined, I can write thirty or even fourty pages in a day and spend hours, but then there are days when I can't write two words. I'll write for hours one day and then not spend a minute at my keyboard the day after. It all depends on how motivated I am. ^_^

Ah, that depends...often I can't spend very long writing something. It gets boring for me. It's why I love word wars- I'll do about two a day, maybe.

So, uhm...thirty minutes. Usually less. -_-

Currently, my writing consists of 1)these random posts and 2)work things.

Summer is supposed to be relaxing, but I'm busier now then I ever was during the school year!!!

I'm exactly the same. In addition to this, I'm having serious motivational problems. I'm going to start outlining the plot for my first novel soon, but I never seem to be motivated enough to do it. Also, I like to have the house to myself when I do write, so I can write without fear of being interrupted, and in total silence. As we're now into our Summer Holidays, my family is here all day, and the only time I get to write in the desired conditions is around 11/12 at night, by which time I'm tired.

When school starts again, and particulalrly after I turn 16 (I don't know why, it just seems right, for some reason) I'm going to start writing seriously.

Varies by day. I'm more of a night writer(not a great habit) I tend to spend hours and hours on it when I do.

It varies. Sometimes I need a "dewriting" period, and sometimes I'll use every last second of free time on my stories.

Ya, it varies with me too! I tend to work more on goals than hours. Like, three poems today, 20000 words today, write until it's done kinda thing.

It really depends on my characters. Stupid buggers, lol! I love them anyway. If it's a good day, I can easily write nonstop four to six hours without problems what so ever, in terms of fatique visually. I think part of this lengthy cycle is due to the fact that I'm hooked to Historical Fiction. I can have two to three books in front of me for reference. So while I stop maybe a half hour to recheck myself, it can pack on the time.

Yay, for multitasking!

I'll write nothing of substance for a few weeks to a month, then sit down one day and write 8000 words. Probably not one of the better habits to get into, but I have not the motivation to change it
