Alice was struggling to keep Bella standing, "Jordan go get a chair, she's about to faint."

"How do you know?" he asked as he grabbed the nearest one.

"I know her better than anyone~save herself."

Jordan placed the chair behind Bella just as she fell backward. Alice eased the fall so she didn't hit too hard and hurt herself.

Alice began waving a hand in front of Bella's face. Bella could see it, but was not respondant.

"Bella?" Alice said a few times.

"Is she okay?" Jordan asked, his tone genuinely worried.

"She'll be fine, but she's never been like this for so long."

"Who's Chris?" Alice looked at Jordan for a moment before replying.

"Chris was her boyfriend. They went out all through high school, but seperated when they went to college. They met up again a few months ago because he was looking for her. She really liked him." Alice tapped Bella's head a few times (none too gently.) "Dammit... if we don't get her to respond soon, I'ma be a little worried."

Jordan looked at Bella curiously.

"May I try something?"

"Such as?"

"I'd rather not say..." Alice gave him an all-knowing look.

"It's worth a shot," she shrugged, stepping back. Jordan leaned forward and kissed Bella lightly on the lips.

Bella blinked a few times, kissing Jordan back subconciously. Suddenly she realized what she was doing, and pulled away. She turned, looked at Alice, then looked back at Jordan. She did this a few times before getting to her feet and bolting for her room in utter confusion.

Alice sighed and followed Bella at a slower pace, giving her a minute or two to pace.

"Would it help if I came along?" Jordan asked.

Alice shook her head, "no that would just make it all worse." she turned back and waved for Scipio to come over. "Would you keep him occupied for me?" she made sure to look cute and sound it while she asked so she wouldn't offend him.

"Sure."

"Thanks." And she kissed his cheek before she started down the hall again.

Bella was, as Alice had predicted, pacing her bedroom when Alice entered.

"Rah!" Bella said immediatly as Alice plopped down onto her bed.

"Bella, dear, calm down," Alice said.

"But...I'm so confused!" Bella fell onto the bed, her face in the pillows. She screamed loudly, letting it be muffled.

"Bella, what's confusing?"

"Chris just left! He told me he had been looking for me for years, then he just left! Never said anything to me!"

"He was an arse, you knew taht. Remember how often you caught him flirting with girls in high school?" Bella nodded slowly. "Did you not expect this eventually?"

Bella remained silent. She had known this was going to happen, yes. But she didn't know how, or that it would hurt this much.

"Grrr..." Bella mumbled into her pillow, waiting for ALice to say something witty and helpful, as she always did.

Alice patted Bella's shoulder as she grumbled, "come on dear, lets go get some cookies."

"Are there any left?"

"If not we'll make some. We'll get chip-faced and just be silly for a while okay?"

Scipio led Jordan away from the living rooms and towards the weapons room, taking large, confident strides so the other boy had to walk quickly to keep up.

"Where are we going?" Jordan asked anxiously, casting his gaze back towards Bella's room.

"I'm giving you the official tour," Scipio replied. "And first I'm going to show you one room that you'll not be going anywhere near." He carried on walking, not faltering a step as he turned around the corner and took the first left.

"Then why are you taking me there?" Jordan wondered.

"So that you know not to go near it. If you didn't, then you'd find it and say you didn't know. Then Adam wouldn't let Matt and Rick use you for target practice."

"Oh..." Jordan's face took on an ashen shade as Scipio stopped outside a door.

"That's the weapons room," he explained, placing a firm hand on Jordan's shoulder. "Don't go in there and we'll get on just fine."

Bella and Alice sat on the kitchen floor, covered in flour and laughing hysterically.

"That was the best, ever," Bella laughed, taking a bite of the giant cookie she had made.

"Nah, still not as good as 10th grade," Alice said. "The first time Chris did this to you." Bella laughed at the memory, even though it stung slightly.

"And this is the kitchen," Scipio's voice rang from the hallway.

"It smells good," Jordan's voice followed. Bella's heart involuntarily skipped a beat. Dammit she cursed herself mentally.

Don't worry so much, dear. Have fun, he seems decent enough, Alice said, using telepathicalness.

Alice chuckled in Bella's mind but he'll realize we're crazy you know.

She sighed, yeah.

But if he's gonna be staying here~which he most likely is, no chance in hell we're goin back there~he's gotta figure it out sooner or later.

Yep *sigh*

Alice jumpped up and hugged Scipio, "hey."

Bella avoided eye contact with Jordan as he entered the room.

"Oh my god, it looks like a tornado hit!" he exclaimed, looking around. Bella rolled her eyes.

"That's waht happens when two mentally distressed girls make cookies," Bella laughed.

"Especially if they happen to be Alice and Bella," Scipio agreed, squeezing Alice gently. "Okay, tour almost over. One more thing. You touch the kitchen knives and you'll lose your fingers. Got it?" Jordan gulped and stammered out a yes as Bella rolled her eyes and Alice giggled.

"Since when did you become mister tough guy?" Alice joked.

"Since I lost my sister to aliens and got her back, only to lose one of my best friends and my..." Scipio blushed. "...other best friend," he ammended.

"We're your only best friends?" Bella asked slyly. "What about the guys and Nutty?"

"Well..."

"Am I allowed to use this?" Jordan asked cautiously, holding up a rolling pin.

"What for..." Scipio asked.

"I'm going to hit someone over the head with it... joking, joking! For baking of course."

Alice giggled and leaned into Scipio, "you can bake?"

Jordan nodded.

"Maybe with supervision," Scipio said.

"Don't worry," Bella added, "the rules may get a little more lax over time, as long as we grow to trust you."

Alice finished her sentence for her, "if not, they get more tense and we let Matt 'play' with you."

His eyes flashed with worry, "what do you mean?"

"Well...Matt's got a secret weapon room..."

"Which apparently isn't all that secret," Scipio said looking down at her. Alice simply shrugged.

Bella chuckled, glancing at Jordan. He met her gaze, and grabbed her arm. In a few seconds, he had grabbed her arm and was dragging her toward the door.

"Where are you going?" Scipio called, giving Jordan a suspicious look.

"I need to speak with Bella," he said, putting emphasis on the word 'need'. Scipio nodded his consent (not that it was necessary).

Once they were safely in the only empty room the ship had, Jordan turned to look sternly at Bella.

"Bella, I figured it out," he said. "The atmosphere, back at my old home. That's what did it."

"Did what?" Bella was slightly flustered.

"Made me act the way I did. I was acting horrible, and I am truly sorry, but I stand by I had no control anymore. None of the men there do..." Jordan trailed off, giving Bella a sincere look. She patted his head lightly.

"You are forgiven," she said.

"Bella," he continued. "I do really like you though."

"You really don't trust him, do you?" Alice asked as Scipio watched after Bella and Jordan.

"I'd feel more comfortable if he wasn't so nervous," Scipio admitted.

"Then stop talking about weapons and consequences!" Alice chuckled and Scipio smiled, nodding.

"Yeah, you're probably right. I'm sure he's a good guy. Come on, let's go see Adam, we should thank the other captains before they leave."

"Good idea."

Bella stared at Jordan for a moment, and he moved toward her, enveloping her in his arms.

"Jordan," she said softly, pushing him away gently. "My on and off boyfriend of six or seven years just left me again. That shouldn't hurt this much, but it does." Jordan nodded understandingly.

"That makes sense. I just wanted to let you know," he said before walking out the door.

"Where are you going?!" Bella exclaimed, running to follow him. He grinned.

"I want to meet the others again. Perhaps it'll be on better terms now that we've all calmed down?"

Random question, have we gotten rid of Adam's little evil person person yet? If not we should bring him back and kina kill him. I think we got distracted when he sent us to the other places everywhere around the universe.

Alice and Scipio walked through another exit of the kitchen and up to the bridge. "Adam," Alice said, "are the other captians still here?"

"No, they left already."

"Oh," Alice said, "I'll just email Nate then."

"For what?"

"To say thanks for comin to help."
