Nutty looked around, confused. "Okay, what's going on?"
"They blew up atlantias!"
"Oh..." Nutty turns to adam.
"Adam, are you okay?"
"Hmm? I'm going to kill that jay..."
Nutty looked around. "What did he do now? I'm confused. It's like... you're all hearing voices in your head or something!"
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

"Set course for Aleron."

Adam went to his room and shut the door. His home was gone. Destroyed by Jay. You're gonna pay. And you're not getting back in our heads.

"Computer, Activate the Psionic Disruptor. code Alpha 34 Giga."

"Confirmed. Psionic Disruptor activated." Adam heard a slight hum in his head. It was a bit annoting but better than having jay in his mind.

The Psionic Disruptor prevents all forms of mental communication in the ship. So Jay cant get to us and Alice and Bella cant talk telepathically. Neither can anyone else.

"Adam, you're ruining my magic!" Bella exclaimed. "Can I still use my cool magic to see places outside the ship, because I have an idea of sorts..." Bella waits for an answer.

Alice felt her mental blocks going up, but it wasn't her doing it, she tried to put them down but it didn't work. "Adam musta turned on the Psionic Disruptor." She rolled over on her bed and tried to sleep, and failed. Maybe she could take a shuttle down to Earth, or that thing Adam used to get to Atlantis. Or maybe she could go back and visit Adrian.

If she went there and left a note maybe they'd leave her alone for a little bit, if they still cared. Just as she fell asleep there was a knock on her door.

"Alice, can I come in?" Scipio asked.

Alice groaned and rolled over, but he turned the knob and came in anyways.
I just lost the game.

Bella sat in the copilot chiar, very frustraited. She wanted to talk to Alice, but didn't want to bug her. She also wanted to try her idea, but didn't know if she could. Adam was apparently too busy to answer her.

Nutty looked around, alarmed. Something was... different. She saw Ravara trot around the corner, whining. She tried to reassure him, but she couldn't.
"What? What's going on?" Nutty mentally checked her magic. It was there, but the connection with her familiar had been... blocked.
"Adam? What happened to the magic around here?"
Ravara bumped into her leg, whining pitifully. "Shush, Ravara. You're fine."

"It doesn't effect magic powers, only psychic ones." Adam continues running scans and diagnostic to make sure everything is still runing smoothly.

"We should be at Aleron in a bout a day or so. Get plenty of rest and try and have some fun for a minute."

Alice rolled over and faced him, "go away Scipio, I finally fell asleep."

"Thought you'd like to talk to someone."

"I've had enough talking I wanna sleep." She took her pillow and threw it at him.

"You'll need this to sleep," he teased and handed it to her as he took a seat on the edge of her bed. "Come on you've got to talk to somebody sometime."
I just lost the game.

"No I don't," Alice replies stubbornly and hesitates as she puts the pillow back. Scipio does not move from the bed and neither does another word pass his lips. For a moment, the two sit in a room cobwebbed with silence.

"It's not like I don't talk to people about things," Alice murmurs after a while and still receives no response.

"It's just that no one listens," Alice continues, not quite sure why she is talking to him.

"I'm listening," Scipio smiles.

"Matt," Adam asked after a few minutes. "Ask Ned whether he can track Jay at the moment."

"Sure." Mattster delved into his mind. "Hey, Mr Knight. Is Jay nearby?"
...
"Uhh... Ned, then. You found the bad guy?"
...
"Ok, ok! I'll stop with the 'Mr Knight' stuff!"
...

"Umm. Adam. He won't answer. Is it that Psychotic Destructor thing doing it?"
Adam looked puzzled. "It shouldn't be. The Psionic Disruptor only jumbles telepathic speech that travels outside of your mind, and since Ned is inside your mind the Disruptor wouldn't have any effect."
Mattster thought for a second. "I have no idea what you just said, but I think it had something to do with Mr Knight not being able to talk to me for a reason that we don't know. Am I right?"
"Precisely."
"Wow... I'm right. I guess there really is a first time for everything."

Adam placed his face in his palm and sighed....Perhaps he should have invested in a school or something.

"I'm gonna catch a few Zs. Some sleep would be really nice before we get there." Adam set the Higwind to Autopilot before locking the system and going to his room.

Hopefully all the engines would still be attached when he woke up.

Alice scoffed, a boy who listens? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. But maybe she could believe that.

"So what do you want to talk about?" She asked, trying to urge the conversation away from her, way too many akward possiblities.

"Whats up with you right now."

"The ceiling is what's up with me," she replies. "What about you?"

"The floor of the next level."

"Nice."

"Come on Al, what's up?"

"I already said the ceiling."
I just lost the game.

Sleep.....As if I can ever sleep.... Adam wondered if anyone had survived from Atlantis. Not as if they hadn't feined disaster before...but had they feined it this time.

"I wonder what is in the kitchen..." Adam got up and headed for the kitchen. Hopefully there were some cookies in there.

Nutty looked mournfully at Ravara. "Roll over."
Ravara whined, blinking stupidly.
"You know, yesterday I was having great philosophical conversation with you. Today you can't do a simple trick."
Ravara yawned.
"I can't keep you around, you realise." Nutty stared blankly at the dire wolf. "You are no longer safe to have around. You might savage someone."
Nutty gave her companion one last stare, and unsummoned her.

"Don't be so awkward Alice. You need someone to talk to and here I am," Scipio replies patiently.

"I don't want to talk about it and I barely know you. Oh look, did I show you my books?"

"I'm the best person to talk to. I'm a neutral party. I barely know the other people involved and I wont tell them," Scipio promises.

"See, this one is my favourite," Alice picks up a random book, frowns at the cover for a while and then smiles widely, falsely.

"What's it about?" Scipio asks, a faint smirk on his face.

"Uh..." Alice turns the book around and looks at the cover. "It's called My Sister's Keeper and it's about a young girl who's locked in a tower by her older sister," Alice invents when she realises that the cover really doesn't give much away.

"Really?" Exclaims Scipio, "That sounds much more interesting than the version I read."

"Yeah... I borrowed it off Nutty, she likes re-writing stories."

"Tell me about Nutty," Scipio prompts.
