Hello, everyone! My name is Kristin (and by all means, call me Kristin). I'm new here, but I actually joined several days ago. I just haven't posted until now. Anyway, I'll be a senior this fall and I love to write. I write a variety of things, from poetry to short stories to novels. My favorite genre is fantasy, but I've only written one major fantasy piece so far, which was actually for NaNoWriMo '06. (NaNoWriMo = fuuun times!) =)

I'm looking forward to seeing more of everyone and reading all the lovely pieces on the forum. ^_^

Did you win Nanowrimo?

I did, actually. =) I've been NaNoing since 2004, and last year was my first win so I was excited. I didn't finish the entire thing, though, until January... so in November my goal will be 50,000 words + the entire story finished.

Thanks for all the welcomes, guys. =) I'm glad to see that so many here NaNo. Myth, I know how that goes. I did that last year. But I stuck to my original storyline and just wrote the entire thing from scratch this past year. I couldn't get the story out of my head until I did.
