Mythical Creatures of Sada

"I don't think she trusts anyone." She replied.

"I trust him, he saved me." The girl wispered in Nicarga's ear.

"Alright, that would help me some we'll switch off." She replied. They put the girl on Syden's back with out stopping. They kept moving at a fast pace. "What will we do when we get there?"

"Why ask me?" he whispered back. he called behind his shoulder, "Does anyone know what we'll do when we--"

Lethero shushed him hurriedly. "Quiet!" he hissed.

Kailani drew on her magic and called out to Syden so no others could hear.

'Syden, i know what to do when we get there, but you have to make sure that everyone stays clear.'

'Kailani? when did you get here?' Syden asked looking around untill he spotted Kailani tailing the group.

'I have always been here. Listen when we get there everyone has to been really careful. I have met that...thing before and believe me, we will have to be careful.'

Syden nodded and took a deep breath. Kailani almost laughed. Here she was with a group of people who had now real idea what they were getting into. Only Raiana had faced that thing before and Kailani couldn't see her anywhere. She would just have to trust the pack.

"What is your name?" She asked the girl softly.

"Serinaty," the girl said smiling, "I thought you were supposed to be quiet."

"He always tells me to be quiet," She laughed.

"We have to watch out, for...something," Syden called over his shoulder.

"For waht?" Lethero asked.

"I dunno. Just...stay out of sight."

"Syden, what is going on?" Nicarga asked,

"Why are we supposed to stay hidden?" Serinaty asked.

Kailani smiled. Syden realised the danger, even if the others didn't. The thing they were going to meet wasn't going to be happy. Espectially with Kailani. She walked to stand next to Syden, Lethero turning to see who was mmoving to stand next to him.

'What are we going to meet?' Syden asked, keeping his eyes ahead and his voice low so only Kailani could hear.

'I don't know how to describe it. But you will know when we get near it'.

"I wish I knew," Syden muttered, frustrated. "But I don't, and I don't want to just rush in blindly, knowing that i'll knew whatever this thing is, but it doesn't seem like Kailani's gonna tell me."

Telayna had watched and listened without making a sound. She was saving her strength to fight. She hadn't been talked to and it was like she wasn't there. Just how she liked it. She thought. She felt a strong scream in her head and stopped.

"What was that?" She whispered.

"What?" One of them asked.

"That scream. I heard it."

"We heard nothing."

Then it took over her. She heard it full blast. She clamped her hands over her ears and screamed out in pain. Some were telling her to be quiet but it didn't help. She stopped. She went stiff and felt her mind go blank. She felt oh so powerful. It was rushing through her and her wings flew out in a second. It was easy as walking. She flew into the air.

"Telayna! What you be doing? Get down here now!" Lethero yelled.

She did as she asked. She went full force onto him. Her mind was a white abyss. She clawed into his back. Then turned and attacked the others.

Nicarga jumped out of Telanya's grasp, and Syden tossed her Serinaty.

"Run, run to the pass, and find a girl named Petra, tell her Nicarga needs her help." Nicarga said to her.

"I can't." THe girl sobbed

"GO!" Serinaty ran, and Nicarga scrambled towards Lethero who was again being attacked by Telanya. She jumped up on Telanya's back and rammed her head against Telanya's, she didn't want to hurt her just to stop her. Telanya screached and spun around throwing Nicarga against a tree.

Syden instantly changed into wolf form, crouching low to the ground. "Teylana!" he shouted. He knew it probably wouldn't do any good. He cursed silently. Suddenly an idea came to him. "Demon!" He screamed. "It wasn't very smart to choose her. She's one of our prisoners, a traitor, and we really don't care whether she lives or dies." He waited, but Teylana turned and snarled at him, then jumped to attack him. Syden swore and dogded.

Raiana came running up to the group.

"Where've u been?" Lethero asked.

"Scouting," Raiana replied, casting the child a curious glance.

"Humpf." Lethero said and kept running.

"Where did she come from?" Raiana asked, glancing at Syden and Nicarga.

"Some priests jumped her and we rescued her. She's the priests niece and she knows where the creatures are." Syden said.

"I told you i know exactly where the creatures are, we dont need her." Raiana growled. She trusted no human, even a mini one.

"Raiana, it'll be fine." Nicarga said.

Raiana growled and caught sight of Kailani. She ran up beside her.

"I dont trust the girl." Raiana said.

"I dont really trust her either." Kailani said.

"There is something different about her. Something that just doesnt seem human." Raiana said, lost in thought. "How could she know so much, even if she IS the priests niece."

"I was thinking the same thing." Kailani said, glancing at the young girl. "Though, she does seem innocent enough."

Raiana grabbed Kailani by the wrist and dragged her back to the group.

"Who are you?" Raiana asked the girl.

"The priests niece, like they told you." the girl said, avoiding Raiana's gaze.

"Raiana, what are you doing?" Lethero asked. "She is the priests niece, a human girl. I dont like bringing her along any more than you do."

"But thats just it!" Raiana said. "She's not human. What are you?" Raiana asked the girl.

"Human." the girl said, hesitantly.

"What are you?" Raiana repeated, a growl escaping her throat.

"im...a dryad, or half dryad, if you preffer." the girl said, hopping off Sydens back.

Raiana cast Lethero a look as if to say, "Told you."

"what are you?" the girl asked.

"Dragon. Lethero here is a were-wolf, same as Syden and Nicarga. Kailani is also a dryad, and Georgia is a shapeshifter." Raiana said. "Why are you helping us?"

*Runs towards the giant blow-up waterslide outside.*

Lethreo slowly got to his feet.This isn't Telayna, he thought, she's possessed. "Telayna!" Lethero yelled. "I know your in there, you can fight this."

She turned and attacked him, he jumped out of the way." You have control, just fight this. I don't want to hurt you, but I will if I must." She attacked him again, but this time he was ready. Pulling out his sword he hit her with the hilt as she passed, knocking her out.

Nicarga pulled herself up from the tree, she moaned in pain, she had sprained her wrist. Serinaty was gone, she had gone to find Petra, now they had no way of stopin her. She stayed in her humen form not wanting the sprain to harm her walking.

"Y'all ok?" She asked,

"I be fine," Lethero said. "I only got nicked."

He fell to his knees. "Lethero, you are not fine," Nicarga said. "Oh my god, your back looks really bad, we should go get Herska."

"No I be fine," Lethero said weakly. Then he fell to the ground. The ground felt, he thought, maybe I'll just stay here and sleep. Then his world went black.
