Star Ranking System by Reviews

The more reviews you make, the more stars you get. This does not count posts anywhere else besides the literary forums, and does not count new topics. Below is a listing of the stars you will receive per number of reviews: For Yellow Stars: 5 Reviews = 1 Star 25 Reviews = 2 Stars 75 Reviews = 3 Stars 150 Reviews = 4 Stars 250 Reviews = 5 Stars For Blue Stars: 350 Reviews = 1 Blue Star, 4 Yellow Stars 450 Reviews = 2 Blue Stars, 3 Yellow Stars 550 Reviews = 3 Blue Stars, 2 Yellow Stars And so on and so forth For Red Stars: 850 Reviews = 1 Red Star, 4 Blue Stars 950 Reviews = 2 Red Stars, 3 Blue Stars And so on and so forth At 1,250 reviews, you max out with 5 red stars. If a lot of people start hitting that in the future (doubtful methinks... 1,250 reviews is A LOT), we can start adding purple stars or something like that. The above system enables new users to gain stars relatively quickly, but rewards those who review over a longer period of time.

You know what is really funny? Last night, I had a dream about these YWS stars. (Freaky?) The system in the dream was, that after five red stars, you started to get yellow stars again. The red stars remained under the avatar, and the new yellow stars were placed on the right side of the avatar.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting this kind of change. Haha. But the weird thing was that I dreamt of it. Hmm, maybe I'm too hooked with YWS?

haha, funny dream Demeter. I know of another site that does it, except you get stars by donating money. The stars end up going all around the picture, and it looks slightly odd...

Anyhow, I did start a few days ago with making new stars. But then I remember how mind-numbingly dull it is to create new stars. It's not hard by any means whatsoever, just boring.

Still, expect something... eventually. Since both Snoink & Suzanne have over 1,250 reviews, and since kitty15 is only 15 away at the moment, I am going to add more.
