Day 1. Katalyn 5:10

In the end I decided to get the little camping stove myself and set it up some distance from the others. Then I located a pan and various food articles - cans of soup, some pasta, just simple stuff.

"You're cooking?" Keri asked from her position beside Adara. I nodded.

"Any preferences?" I held up the cans and packets and she pointed towards one for savoury rice. I nodded again and filled the pan with bottled water, bringing it to the boil before adding the contents of the packet. Then I sat back and waited. Five minutes passed and I had an idea. I headed back to the camping section and grabbed a few more little stoves then I located some more pans. Setting them up I started some chicken soup in one, some pasta in another and more rice in the last.

"Could do with a spoon," I mused as the soup began to bubble a little. It took a while to find a box of cutlery so that, upon my return, the food was well on the way. I broke the box open, took out some spoons and began to stir.

Day 1. Adara. 5:15pm

The food smelled so good that it warmed me from the inside out. I hadn't eaten since...I couldn't even remember. IHOP? My stomach growled in protest and I couldn't help but smile. I as so glad that everything was functioning correctly. I was actually happy that I couldn't feel the cold in my toes.

By test and run strategy I could move my feet, my arms, and I could sit up (as much effort as it took). I was told not to try walking just yet, my lips were said blue and my face still a little pale. I was a little dizzy but that must have been from the fall. Nothing, though, could make me feel any less excited. I'd be able to move around in no time!...Based on my own interpretation.

I sat up on my arms to get a better look at the pot that Kat sat next to. She looked so determined to finish it and get it to us as soon as possible. My first impression of her had been wrong. She wasn't too nice, she wasn't here to start fights, she was here to help.

She looked over at me sternly and I slowly eased myself back onto the floor. Food, food meant eating, eating meant relaxation, relaxation meant contentment, and contentment meant...conversation? I was curious as to who else was just on the other side of the store. When would we get together and meet each other?

I was hoping for tonight. Then we'd have time to calm down a little, plan what we're going to do, hopefully I'd get to mention that someone was walking around and locking people in freezers. The only problem I saw was that neither I nor Kev could walk.
I love, love.

Keri walked around, looking for Dave she hadn't seen him in a while. She spotted Jo and went over to talk her.

"Have you seen Dave?" She asked, Jo frowned,

"No, and I don't really care right now, He can take care of himself." She snapped, Keri nodded and walked off, she could smell food. But she ignored it, she had to find Dave. She couldn't lose him, no that would never work. She hadn't gone through all this shit to lose him again. She had already lost Derrick, she'd kill someone before she lost Dave. She walked to the door he had been posted at but there was no sign of him. She sat down and leaned against the wall. She really really wished this was a stupid dream. She looked up and saw a camera mounted to the wall and she smiled. Maybe she could find out who had put Adara into the freezer. SHe walked back to where Kat and Adara were and she looked up spotting a camera pointed right a the freezer Adara had been in.

"What are you doing?" Kat asked looking up.

"Just trying to figure something out. If you see Dave, tell him to find me." She said,

"How will he do that?" Kat asked,

"Just tell him to look up and think." She smiled, Kat shrugged and nodded, "How's Adara?"

"She's ok, warming up some." Keri nodded and walked off looking for the security room. Keri walked to the outter wall and walked around the primisus, she passed by where they had Kevin but she kept going, she had to find the room. Maybe she could solve this problem, and then find Dave. Though she didn't know if anyone else thought that a person had put her in there and was still here. She moved quickly and found a door that was out of place on the other half of the building tucked behind several displays. She pushed the door open and stepped in. A disqusting smell hit her hard causing her to cough. She saw some steps and quickly asending them hoping that the smell would cease. She saw another door, it was shut but said "'Private Security Staff Only' " smiling she walked towards it. She tried the handle but it was locked,

"DANG IT!" She growled, the answers to alot was in there and the dang thing was locked. Keri banged her fist on the door frustrated then looked around, there had to be something to pop the handle off and get in. SHe found a bar and shoved it between the door handle and the frame and shoved at it. It broke the frame and little sending her to the ground. She kicked the door and picked the bar up again and beat a the door. It was gonna come undone, she would make sure of that. She started hitting where the locked would be and chipped away at the wood.

A voice nervously asked from inside the door, "...Who's there...?"

Anger boiled in Keri, "Doesn't matter, let me the HELL in, or I'll get in and kill you if you don't." She hissed, hitting at the frame again. The door muffled most of the voice and she didn't reconize it. The smell was really starting to make her feel sick, whoever was in there better let her in, and soon.

There was silence and the voice replied, "...Um... no..."

"Fine, its your funneral." She growled, and started pounding at the frame again clumbs of wood falling with every hit. Maybe all the chopping wood as a kid wasn't bad anymore.

The voice answered strongly but she sensed nervousness, "I'm not unarmed..."

"Neither am I, and I'll come in shootin if I have to. I'm fine now, cause this door is bullet proof so don't waste your ammo, I might need it." She hissed as she kept hitting the wood, her hands hurt, but she kept going.

There was a long pause, "If you come in here I'll wipe all drives, so you'll never see us again, I can do it you bastard!"

Keri stopped and thought about that, "Well at least you'll be dead when I get in so we wont have to worry about a murder around anymore." She hissed, proceding.

The voice paused again, "Yes well, we've all got blood on our hands except in my case I saved a man!"

"Oh would you shut up so I can break this frame, unless you want to just let me in. I'll spare your life." She hissed,

"I doubt that..."

"HEy, I'm not the murder around here. I'm acctually trying to find someone, and I need in there." She hissed, "where is Derrick when you need him." She mumbled the last part to herself. He had always been able to get people so annoyed they'd normally listen to him. Rest his soul.

"Even so, you could of killed someone sure wouldn't of been skin off you're nose."

"That didn't make any sense you fool!" She growled.

"Anymore threats and I'll wipe the drive how you like that?"

"It sounds like your just a stupid scared little person, now LET ME IN!!!" She hit at the frame again and smiled, almost there.

"Of course I'm scared, the whole town full of zombies. Everyone lost someone, but don't expect me to be easy on would be killers!"

Keri growled and banged at the wood again. "Well that doesn't mean you can't let me in so that I can get rid of one of the killers, who I don't know where he/she is but I NEED THOSE recordings."

There was silence, "Why would the psyco need the recordings you're spying on us, and picking us off one by one... or trying..."

"I'M picking you off one by one, that is unlikely. Now let me in I think this guy might have a friend of mine, and I'll kill you if he does and you didn't let me in." She hissed, "So if you dont' let me in its someone's head on yours shoulders."

"What guy are we talking about you're the guy who tried to kill Adara and I'm going to show that to everyone."

"HAHAHAHA" Keri stopped banging on the frame and shook her head, "ME the one that tried to kill her, DO I SOUND LIKE A GUY!!! Plus I was one of the people that saved her, if it wasn't for me it would've taken forever to get her out!"

She heard movement and the a heavy bar sliding off before the door opened and Dave hugged her, "Keri, thank god it's you!"

Keri's shoulders slumped in releif, then she grew a little angry. "I almost killed you!" She said fighting the thought of what she would do if she had.

He smiled nervously, "I had to be careful come in, and don't worry this isn't some idea to get us alone, theres more important things."

"Have you found the recording of what happened to Adara?" She asked sitting in a chair after closig the door.

Day 1. 5:20pm. Kevin.

Little fucker may not be the smoothest bastard around, but he sure was quick.

I dropped my head onto the pillow and closed my eyes. Angie was here. Ange-fucking-lina. Stupid bitch. And that fucktard Alain was no where in sight, I noted. Big fuckin’ surprise. The second the thought crossed my mind, I remembered the kid that had been with her. Did she have a little brother? I couldn’t remember. I winced inwardly and regretted those thoughts immediately. My knee still throbbed painfully. I was still wearing my belt and my pistol, which dug into my lower back and my thigh. I couldn’t do anything about it at the moment, so I tried to shift to take some of the pressure off. For a second I wondered if the rest of them had even bothered to start fortifying the store. Collecting food, checking and blocking entrances and exits, drawing water in case the plumbing went out...generators in case the grid went down...beds...sleeping arrangements...

”Jesus Kev, this is a lot of blood...this guy’s fucked up–“ Cameron is crouched beside the man, gently peeling the ratty, bloodstained jacket away from the man’s skin. Crimson rivers trickle from his nose, mouth, and chest as Kevin watches in horror from behind his brother, using Cameron as a shield. He watches as the man’s eyes focus on his shooter and savior, only partially conscious.

“You shot me! You killed me, you sonofabitch! Bastards! Bastards both’a yeh,” the man mumbles with conviction, through bloodied teeth. Kevin wonders if it would be better to just leave the man to die. He is obviously a hobo, a vagabond, living on the road with no one to miss him but the squirrels on the side of the road.

“Cam...we can just go...we can leave him here and–“ Cameron turns to him, and the look on his face silences Kevin as efficiently as any punch would have.

“Fuck that, Kevin. We did this–suck it up and take responsibility. Do what has to be done. ‘Evil thrives in the inaction of principled men,’” Cameron says, quoting his philosophy class. He tears open the dying man’s shirt to get to the wound. He is an EMT in Ashville–even as a kid, Cameron had always shown a strong interest in helping those in need. Whenever they are in the same room, Kevin feels like an ant in Cameron’s shadow. He idolizes him and envies him. His movements are so assured, so confident and coolly competent.

“Get my phone, Kev. Call 911, and–now listen carefully–tell them we’re fifteen miles South, that’s SOUTH, of Ashville, on County Road 102. Tell them to send help ASAP. Answer their questions as best as you can. Do exactly what they say.”

Kevin scrambles to his feet, then runs toward Cameron’s dirt covered Bronco, at the side of the road.

He fumbles with the phone laying on the dash, then dials 911. The dispatcher picks up immediately.

“Please help–my brother shot somebody, he–the guy’s bleeding all over the place and–“

“Son, calm down–where are you?”

“We’re fifteen miles South of Ashville, on County Road 102, please hurry, the guy’s dying, my brother, he–“ Kevin realizes that the call has been terminated. He isn't sure how much of the call had gone through. He looks at the phone, dumbfounded. It's still on, there just isn’t any reception.

He hurries back to his brother.

“Did you get ahold of them?” Cameron asks.

“I–yeah, yeah they’re coming.”

For fifteen excruciating minutes the brothers wait, Cameron doing what he can for the injured man and Kevin merely sitting in the dirt, his arms wrapped around his knees as he watches the man’s chest, praying for some sign of breath. When help arrives, it is hardly what the brothers expect–three black and white police cars pull to the side of the road, two blocking Cameron’s Bronco in and one facing the two brothers. Six police officers climb out of the cars, guns drawn and raised toward the kids. They hide behind the bulletproof doors of their squad cars, and one raises a bullhorn to his lips.

A blast of feedback as the cop turns on the horn is enough to make Kevin cringe in discomfort. Cameron stares the police down with a grimace.

“Kick your weapons away from you and step away from the body!”

Kevin looks to Cameron; he may be the more outgoing of the duo, but Cameron was the leader, no contest.

“What do we do?” Kevin asks. Cameron grits his teeth together, his jaw muscles clenching behind his cheeks. He is flushed an angry red.

“We didn’t do anything wrong! Get an ambulance over here, this guy’s hurt bad!” Cameron yells to the cops, three of which have left the safety of their barriers to advance on the youths.

“Kick the fucking guns away!” The bullhorn yells, “and step away from the goddamn body!”

Kevin slowly takes a step away from the man on the ground, despite a look of betrayal on Cameron’s face.

“Fuck that man, we haven’t DONE anything! Call an ambulance, damn it! ‘The fuck is wrong with you pigs!”

With that, the world is thrown into chaos. Cameron drops to one knee to put pressure on the injured man’s wound, Kevin’s mouth opens in a scream of denial. The ranking cop yells something into the megaphone.

And one rookie cop gets overeager, his finger tightening on the trigger. The resulting explosion propels a bullet that takes Cameron in the right temple.

The metal slug, nearly half an inch in diameter, enters and exits Cameron’s skull in a fraction of a second. His blood sprays onto the ground, onto the hobo’s body, and onto Kevin, who still stand behind his brother, his arms high in the air in a futile attempt to disarm the situation.

My eyes snapped open and looked around frantically. An instant of panic. By the time I realized where I was, I had sat up and drawn my pistol, holding it out in front of me. My shirt was drenched in sweat. I was alone–at least, alone in this part of the massive warehouse. The lights were still on, so I figured it couldn’t be particularly late in the night. I heard muffled voices, a couple laughs, coming from somewhere in the store.

“Pizza and beer...sounds really--fuckin’-- good right now,” I muttered. I dropped the pistol into my lap and fell back onto the bed.

Day 1. 5:22 p.m. Elaina.

I hadn't even realized that my search for hot drinks and food led me right back to where I left Kevin, until I turned the corner and a pistol was pointing in my direction. I stopped short, breath stolen from my throat, and stared for a long moment.

He didn't see me.

He laid back down, practically flopping back into the bed, and muttering something about pizza and beer. And of course fuckin' something or other. He wouldn't be Kevin without it. The part that worried me were the sweat stains on the front of his shirt and the shininess indicating the sweat on his brow.

He still hadn't seen me, or at least was acting like he hadn't, and even though I was unsure of the reception I would receive, and unsure about whether or not I should even approach him alone, I did it anyway.

"Hey," I said softly, once I was closer to the bed.

His eyes seemed to wander for a second before they landed on me. "Fuckin'... shit... and..." He groaned and wiped his brow, moving to sit up.

I shook my head, squatting beside the bed. "No, don't bother, it's okay. Are you more comfortable this way?"

"Elaina--"

"Then stay there."

Again I was falling into that motherly briskness that I sometimes used to hold people at arm's length. I hadn't done it this way in a long time, and it surprised and sort of irritated me that Kevin could get that kind of reaction out of me, even after two years without seeing or hearing from him once.

"Let me get you something. What do you want? Are you hungry?" My eyes fell on the ice cream container I'd brought him, spoon sticking out of it, and I tsked, feeling more Mother Hen-esque by the second. "Barely three bites. And I thought I'd gotten it right." I gave him a slight smile before looking away. I didn't know what I'd see when I looked right at him (if at all), and I wasn't too sure I wanted to find out.

"Should I get you something else? When was the last time you ate anything?"

"Elaina," he said again.

I paused. "What?"

"I'm fine."

His teeth were gritted, and he definitely didn't look it.

I sank down onto the edge of the bed, careful not to jostle him. "Are you running fever?" I asked him, careful to remain brisk. "You're soaking wet." I laid the back of my hand on his forehead. He flinched slightly, and I drew my hand away and stood up to keep our hips from bumping.

"Do you want me to go get you another shirt? I can go find you one. Are you comfortable? We don't need to move you to a better bed?" I laid my hand on the bed and pushed. It gave just the right amount. I was still trying to keep my mind occupied on anything other than the young man on the bed, looking sick. "Feels okay. Does it work? I can get the others to help me move you. Or if you think you can do it on your own..." I shrugged and left the sentence unfinished.

Day 1. Katalyn. 5:23

The soup finished first and I removed the pan from the little camping stove before realising that we had no bowls to transfer it to.

"I'll get some," Bernard, who had recently returned from collecting more tea and coffee, offered. I nodded and put the soup back over the stove to keep warm while I waited. He returned just a few minutes later and I divided the soup into three. Jo had a bowl and Bernard and I offered the last to Adara but she said she wanted to wait for the rice.

"Do you think Kevin likes chicken soup?" I wondered.

"No idea but it wouldn't hurt him," Bernard replied. I nodded.

"Can you keep an eye on the other stuff? I'm going to take the soup and then find the toilets and wash the pan."

"Sure," Bernard replied.

I went to see Kevin first, not really surprised to find Elaina there, and I left them the soup and a spoon before going in search of the toilets.

Day 1. 5:24pm. Kevin.

When Kat handed me the bowl of soup, all I could manage was a muttered thanks--Elaina had my attention. she was in full-blown, mother-fucking-hen mode and I was ready to scream at her.

You are NOT my woman, woman.

...Not anymore.

I sighed inwardly as Kat smiled and nodded a You're welcome, then walked quickly away--maybe she sensed she was interrupting something. Personally, I could have used the company--anything to get her off my fucking back. And my bed.

...Maybe not my bed.

I actually laughed into my soup at that thought, and Elaina stared at me a moment.

"I don't need anything. Right now I just need to get all the morons around here organized. Go herd those fucking sheep over here--we have to talk fortifications. If you have to look for someone, go in pairs, and make sure you both have something to smackabitch if a zombie gets too close. Tell everyone to meet here at six pm. Something tells me we don't want night falling without making some plans."

Elaina actually shut up, for once, and nodded. "Yeah, okay. Good idea." She stood up and took a step toward the front of the store, hesitated, turned back to me, and said "It's good to see you, Kev." she flashed me that smile, then set off at a brisk walk.

...Definitely not my bed.
Got YWS? I do.

Day 1. Katalyn. 5:35

I used the toilet, washed the pan and then was about to hurry away when I caught a glance of my reflection in the mirror above the sink. I looked dreadful. I ran the taps and splashed cool water across my skin, cleaning away the day's dirt. Then I took my bag from my shoulders and as absurd as it sounds, I applied my make-up. A touch of foundation, a smear of lipstick, a dash of eye-shadow and the necessary eye-liner and mascara. Much better. Except that my hair lay in tangles. I ran a brush through it, working on each individual knot steadily.

"What the hell are you doing?" I mumbled, rolling my eyes but then I had to smile. I puckered my lips, pleased with the plump pout that achieved and then I frowned. It seemed that I had come so far in just one day. Yesterday I was sat at my dressing table, talking to Louis about my music. Right now I should be preparing for the night. Dressing, practising, prancing around the stage. That made me smile again but the smile was false. Frail. And as I set off back towards the others, I began to hum a melancholic melody.

Day 1. 5:29pm. Joanna.

Jo ate her soup in silence, grateful for the effect the warm food and migraine meds had. The migraine wasn't gone yet, but it had dulled into a light headache. Barely noticeable, compared to what it had been. At least she could function.

So what's next? she thought. Now that Kevin was back, she wasn't sure if she was still leading the group. She thought she'd be glad to let someone else deal with it, but with his leg...

Sipping up the last of the soup, she set her bowl to the side. Now that she wasn't crippled by a pounding head, and with nourishment refueling her body, she felt restless.

Elaina walked up, and Jo stiffened. "Hey, sorry to interrupt dinner," she said cheerfully. "Kevin figures we should probably make some plans, so he wants everyone to meet at his bed. Is everyone here?"

Joanna stood up. "No, not everyone." She surveyed their small group. "Keri went after Dave, I think... And Kat..." She spotted the girl walking toward them as she spoke, wearing fresh makeup and looking like she was headed to hang out with friends. Jo rolled her eyes. "Kat's right there. There was that one lady, with the kid... I saw her over there a while back." She pointed vaguely. "And that crazy kid with the sword, not sure where he is." She looked down at Adara. "How are you feeling, hon? Think you can walk a little bit if we help you out?"

"I think she should warm up a bit more before we try to move her," Bernard said for her. "It's not smart to rush these things."

Jo shrugged and looked at Elaina. "So there you go. We can gather everyone up and rush things like idiots, or you can go back and tell Kevin we can't bring everyone. Up to you."

Elaina thought for a moment. "Well, you seem to be taking charge, so maybe you should meet with him, and you can come back here to let everyone know the plans."

"I'm not gonna play fucking messenger," Jo snapped. This girl's enthusiasm irked her, and she found herself bitterly wondering why she was smiling so much after visiting Kevin. None of that, now. "Listen. Bernard can stay with Adara. Kat, you and I can go looking for Keri and Dave and whoever else might be out there -- we'll just do a search of the store. Help check perimeters, that sort of thing. Elaina..." Jo shrugged. "Choose your group. Or go back to Kevin, whatever." She grabbed her gun and turned her back to Elaina, motioning for Kat to follow her.

(This is very long I did this here for a few reasons, you don't need to read anything but end if ya feel like that. THey're in love and this storybook 'R' I asked Dono. I'm not doing it for no hell of it. It was coming and better it comes now instead of later. I hope this isn't too bad.)

Dave. 5:30 Day 1.

Dave thought of sitting in her lap, but he needed to be in a fit state of mind so he stood and began to fiddle with the machine, "I'm guessing you figured same as me?"

“She didn’t lock herself in that freezer, someone had to be behind it which could mean trouble for us.” She replied watching the screen.

Leaning over the control he searched with his exhausted jade eyes, out the corner he saw Keri sitting close, only the job was stopping him whipping round and and kissing her, they were so alone and quite safe but not until he'd done this, later he screamed in his head; finally finding the button. He immediately pressed. The pictures moving backwards rapidly.

While he rewound he took a disk out the drive replying, "Proof." She nodded.

“But who is it, you ever get a clear shot at the face?” She asked looking at the pictures again.

He shrugged, "Well not like we knew someone had done this, I was just proving this." His eyes fell over her face and she smiled, he groaned, god she had such pull on him. He turned away and saw that it had rewound far enough. He pressed play saying jokingly, "It's not the cinema, but we're alone..." She giggled slightly.

“Well, lets hope its at least a good movie.” She smiled,

He looked around for something to sit on, finding nothing he looked at helplessy, she smiled warmly and giggled standing up, "Sit on here silly I won't bite... much, but sure you would know that already." He shrugged, it was an invitation and walked over falling into chair she place herself on him. The camera was now at point. He slid his arms round her torso and felt her breath escape and shiver.
They watched the tape play and Keri tried to see the guys face but he some how managed to keep his face from being seen. “How does he do that, its like he knows where the cameras are.”

Dave shrugged, or tries to since his arms are around her it goes wrong, "Hehe, sorry."

“Your fine.” She laughed relaxing a little, “I’m not liking all this zombie stuff.”

The video ends and she turns to him, "David why the hell are you so dang smart?"

He laugh weakly, "It was obvious really, but question is how did you guess?" His arms were shivering and part of him was begging him to just kiss her ignore the others, they didn't care about them. She laughed and kissed his lips softly then looked down at him smiling,

He was struck by her beauty, and knew way she was sitting was uncomforable, "You want to sit all the way round?" He was unsure what was going to happen but they were safe for time being.

Keri turned around and smiled down at him, kissing himagain, "This good," She asked teasingly,

God, she sure knew him she had made it even more suggestive by almost wrapping her legs round him. She looked at him. He closed his eyes and there lips met. She pushed into his kiss her heart pounding against her rib cage.

Dave looked around quickly at the door before, turning to Keri, "Should we?"

"Probably not, but.." She kissed him again trying to think.

Looking at her he kissed her again, "If we do... the door?"

"you found a way to keep me out." She grinned.

At that comment she leant in closer he was already aroused but..., "Keri how much you want this?" Keri just kissed him deeply running her hands through his hair. He leant further in chair already in danger of tipping over, he could swear she was slightly moving up and down, "Um guess alot..." He didn't manage to finish she lay on a deep passionate kiss sending them both moaning. Keri sat up and smiled then kissed him again, the chair started to fall and they both jumped up not stopping hte kiss.

Dave knew now she wanted it, so led her over to door not stopping kiss which was now frenching, he closed the door bolting it again. Once his hands were free began to move them on her back.

"We should go check on the others soon." SHe mumbled inbetween kisses.

He finished frenching her, "Uh how long is soon?" He went back to kissing her before she could answer, she let a laugh escape her lips when she pulled away and he kissed her again.

Pulling her collar he exposed her shoulders and slowly kissed all way up to her neck. While doing this she had his hand in a firm grip her eyes clenched shut. He stopped and continued, "Plus we're not most popular people you know." She nodded and let him kiss her neck again. She shivered as he kissed her shoulder and then pulled his lips back to her own. She kissed him deeply holding him tight.

He let her tongue explore his mouth, exploring hers. It was getting very hot quickly. He stopped, "I love you Keri 'been so long."

"I love you to," She looked deep in his eyes for a few seconds. He let her tongue explore him, while let his tongue probed deeper into her mouth.

He looked over at her too, "You can still back out, it's not been long I know."

"I don't care if you don't care." She smiled kissing him again.

Dave laughs, "Keri I think my body made my decision for me."

"I think thats a first," She laughed,

"Hey that's not fair, you try have something going up at random arousing times." Keri nearly burst out laughing but she just kissed him instead, He stopped kiss, "Like now."
Keri just laughed smiling at him,

"I love you." She grinned.

Laughing he lent close into her, "Heh I love you too, been so long I was in prison and you never thought of dati---okay I'm postive now I'm not imagining movement Keri." She looked at him winking, "Not like you mind!"

"How could i think about dating?" She asked smiling while looking him in the eye, "I love you and that is that." She kissed him gently loving the feel of his arms around her.

Kissing her softly he stopped, "See you didn't deny movement I feel" Keri face went red.

She pushed Dave and clambered on. He smiled his cheeky grin, "Wow you're hot when you blush."

Keri fought another blush, "You hush." She laughed,

Laughing he answered, "You were one who pushed me over!"

"Are you complaining?" She asked teasingly.

"...No..." his hands slowly began to ease up her top, her breath halted and she whimpered, "God Dave been so long!"Keri let him take her shirt off and she let a silent moan escape her lips. Her breasts he squeezed them, it had been too long. Her leg was rubbing the inside of his. He pinched again. Her nipples had grown hard. Too long he'd missed her so much in prison. Keri pulled Dave's face up to her own and kissed him. A moan slipped from her lips and she held him close.

Sliding her hands across his chest she slowly began to ruffle the top her leg now moving faster and high between his legs, "Keri how long you wanted this?" Dave panted.

"I'm not sure, " She smiled and kissed him. "How long have you?"

"Ever since I left you," Dave let out a low moan as her leg had reached the spot, then continueing "We deserve this don't we, ya don't feel we're rushing?"

"Yes, we deserve and no we're not rushin. But we can't be to long." She smiled kissing him, she sighed if only there wasn't the stupid threat of zombies she would be floating on cloud nine. But this was close enough for her.

Dave nodded and once more began to kiss her neck, stopping to say, "Lets make this time we have worth it." She nodded and ran her fingers through his hair.

Leaning over he kissed her neck harder he soon felt her hands lifting his top up he closed his eyes and threw all passion into the kissing she soon was crying out. No more stopping though she got his top off. He then felt behind her back and unfastened her bra while still kissing. They rolled over and she grinned seductively her hands over bra on, "Ready Davey boy!?"
He just kissed her in response and she let her bra drop.

Moving head down he began to suck, by now he was very horny, then again it had been so long he licked around her right breast nipple. Kissing and sucking it making her moan loudly. He began to struggle out her trousers as the want grew more sucking harder. Tongue shooting in and out and slathering on it. She grinned when he stopped. Her ectasy was undeniable as he moved his tongue between her breasts, licking the inside. Her flesh sheening with perspiration. She let a moan slip out of her lips as she let him slip her trousers off and her slipped his off. Slowly he didn't wait and began to push against her, she joined in saying, "Dang, we're impaitient arn't we! He grinned and put her hands on her ass. Carefully he slip them down the sides and moved to her wet hole. Knowing her well he didn't even touch it he just carefully navigated his hands closely to it and then back away. Keri pushed his face against and freched moaning loudly with such euphoria. He felt her hands go for his boxers and ripping them off him. His hand slipped and touched her wetness. Groaning with such lust. He thrust against her. He was pretty sure Keri knickers were most likely drenched. She was crying out now with wonderful elations her her hands were clawing him. Boy he had wanted this too long. Moving out for under him she stood up and he gasped as her knickers just slid off. Holy cow was all he could say she was fucking... It was now...

Keri laughed as she moved down over him kissing neck. He let out a moan as she moved to his lips and kissed him passionatly. Dave looked at where she had been a second before saying, "Jesus, those are pretty damp..." Turning toward him she kissed him by pulling his lip then tongue before answering. Not believing how she felt, Keri only recollected feeling like this since they'd last been together, two nights before he left and was later imprisoned.

Carefully he slid into her, only a short time. He glanced around seeing there clothes strewn around the room. Her centre felt very wet. Funnily enough a thought came to mind about protection, but unlike normal situation they probably wouldn't live so no need. He frenched her passionately as his thrusting movement grew. She stopped and answered his question before, "I'd say you have no idea but really you do get the idea." He giggled and sped up pushing inside her. Her moans and sigh quickening. Keri gasped and stopped talking and started kissing him again. She tugged at his bottom lip and then frenched him again.

Gasping loudly he managed to just say, "Keri we've no protection." It was pointless comment but he had to make sure she at least had some idea.

"We might not live long enough to have to worry about it." She said pulling his lips back to her own.

He pulled away, Keri seemed to getting a little annoyed, "And if we do...?"

"Its to late to do anything now. I don't think we'll have to worry about it. But if you are that concerend about it then we can stop, if you want." She replied.

"I guess..." He cried as he felt something shoot out himself. "I'm not worried, I just need to know you're all a-okay." Dave moaned and frenched her deeply and thrust harder. A groan of elation and she smiled at him before replying.

"A-okay here." She grinned, she pushed into his kissed and pushed up against him.

Smiling he nodded and switched to cockney accent, "Wouldn't say a-okay luv, you appear to have a leak!"

Keri almost burst out laughing but just let a giggle escape. "Well you are too."

He kissed her neck deeply and bite down. Keri clenched her eyes but let him. They were sure pushing against each other and she suddenly pushed up hard sending another spray from him. He finished the love bite on her neck. Dave tried to speak but just cried "Uh Keri, oh god oh fucking god."

Moaning she kissed him and bit lightly down on his lower lip pulling on it. not being able to talk.Thrusting inside her he got her to climax once more before rolling off, "Lets go before we get too carried away."

Keri nodded, and sat up and smiled down at him. "We better get back before they miss us or we'll be in trouble."

Acknowledging her he looked around, "Lucky this place sells clothes we definetly need to change that..." He lauged in voluntairly, he saw her looking at him with same longing he still have. "If you're quite bad go to girls toilets." Dave found his boxers and trousers flung them on hurriedly. He hadn't known there shoes had come off but right under the seat they both lay, "Boy how did we miss them coming off."

Keri laughed and pulled her clothes on. "Lets get out there and grab clothes and get changed then get back to the others. Searching for her hand he found it and curled his own around it. She did the same. They opened the door and the smell once more hit them. Keri grip grew tighter. He gave her a reassuring squeeze, "Don't worry Keri I'll protect us."

The slowly moved out of the area, the recording in Dave's pocket. "I don't like this smell, what is it?"

Sniffing he knew she wouldn't want to know, but she caught how he reacted a looked at him inquiringly.

"What is it?" She asked, stopping.

"Ya." She quickened her past and they hurried out of area. They hurried down the stairs and pushed ran through the door. Closing the door behind he looked carefully at each ailse trying to work out what one it would be, "This may be a bad idea but we're not going to seperate, we'll find girls clothing first just underwear Keri, nothing fancy there's no need." She gave him a look as if to say 'I'm not stupid.'

She walked along the shelves and found a nice pair and quickly found a place to change. When she was done she walked back over to Dave and smiled. "Done. "

Nodding he found boys section and changed in front of her, throwing the others in bin nearby. Well that's everything he was sure. "Now lets show them this recording.

"Alright, lets get back before they miss us."

Day 1. 5:40pm. Mev.

Kevin looked borderline terrible. He was sitting on the mattresses with his eyes shut, but Mev was pretty sure he wasn't asleep. He seemed tense, and too still. Mev hadn't looked at his leg injury, but if it was bothering Kevin, it must be pretty painful.

Mev had found a crate of redbull, and opened it up. He sipped his soda, grimacing at its taste. They never had been especially good, but he needed the caffeine, and it beat cold coffee.

"You okay, man?" Mev asked. Kevin snapped his eyes open, his face cracking into his signature grin.

"Yeah, man. I'm good."

"It's been a long night."

"Yeah, no shit... It's only gonna get longer. We gotta make this place a fuckin' fortress, man. We're gonna be here a while." He scanned the building with his eyes. "And all these chumps are just sittin' around like it's a party, y'know?"

Mev laughed. He had a pretty good idea who Kev had in mind. "Leave 'em alone. We're better off without the dumb idiots trying to help."

Kev muttered, "Yeah man, no shit."

Mev yawned, then took another long swig of caffeine, figuring it was necessary if he was displaying signs of tiredness.

"Hey, you saw Elaina's here, right? What kind of fucked up shit is that?" Kev laughed, eyeing Elaina's dark head from across the warehouse.

"Small city, I guess, with the perim closed off." Far away, Elaina tucked a strand of hair around her ear, then sat down, disappearing from view behind a row of electric fireplaces. "She seeing anyone?" Mev asked.

"Fuck if I know, asshole."

"Hey, I'm not the one who randomly dumped her. She was looking at you, earlier."

Kevin's laugh sounded forced. "Man, all chicks look at me."

Deciding to drop the subject, Mev asked, "What do you think needs to be done to the place, to keep it holding up?"

Kevin ran a hand through his hair. "Well... Shit, man. Start by locking up the shutter doors right. Padlock 'em. Gotta go through the offices one by one to make sure they're clear. Case you hadn't noticed, there isn't a single fucking employee around. Then we should probably inflate a shit load of those kid pools and fell 'em with water, 'case the plumbing goes. That'll be a good start."

"I can get started on that," said Mev. "Might wanna wait on the doors, though. More people might be coming."

"Fuck 'em. We're here, that's all that matters."

"Yeah." Mev shrugged, draining his redbull then crushing the can with the toe of his sneaker. "Try and get some sleep, man, you look dead."

"Soon. But I need to know this place is tight. Try to get everyone gathered-- I send Elaina off, but I doubt she's assertive enough to gather everyone."

"Right," Mev said. "Will do. Anything else?"

Day 1. Katalyn. 5:40.

I followed after Joanna, feeling a little uncomfortable as the awkward silence stretched on and on.

"Think we should try in there?" I asked, indicating a door to our left. Jo shook her head.

"Let's check the aisles first. There's no reason to assume they've entered the offices or that they're even together." She fell silent again and we made our way towards the front of the store, passing food, furniture and clothes. Then we came to shelves filled with saws, hammers and various other tools, some of which I'd never set eyes on before.

"Now that's a weapon I might actually be able to use," I murmured as I took the largest hammer. It was heavy. I put it back and took a slightly smaller one. Jo's mouth twitched and I wasn't sure what to make of that but could I blame her? Here I was cooking meals, covering my face in make-up and now unable to lift a damn hammer. I picked the other back up, carrying one in each hand as if that had been my intention all along and we proceeded to the next aisle.

Keri turned a corner and ran smack into Kat. She was holding two hammers, one that looked like it was to heavy for her. She was about to raise them up but didn't when she saw who it was.

"Where have you two been?" Jo asked,

"The secerity room, we have the recording of who put Adara in the freezer, though we can't get a good look at his face, but we can tell a bit about him." She said,

"Alright, lets get back to the others so that we can tell them." Kat said, they all turned around and headed back towards the others. They past an area with portable dvd players and Keri grabbed one.

Day 1. 5:43pm. Kevin.

"I'm gonna need ammo for the Mini and the Springfield. I'm down to one fucking bullet."

"Well, Barney's is right across the parking lot, right?" Mev asked me.

I nodded. "Yeah, and I have the keys. But there's no way I can make it across the parking lot on this leg. Someone will have to make a run for it...if I had some ammo I could cover them from the roof."

"Well, hey--that Keri girl came back with a bunch of guns, maybe she has some bullets that your gun will take?"

I stared at him for a second. "You're shittin' me."

'No, she did!" Mev said, smiling a bit.

"Well shit man, go find her--we need ammo."

Mev nodded and picked up the case of Red Bull. "Get some sleep, Kev--I'll see what I can do about getting everyone organized. Should I send Jo in here? Everyone seems to be listening to her." Yes. Yes, please.

"Yeah, do it."

He nodded again and quickly strode out of sight.

"Stupid fucking leg," I muttered. I unbuckled my belt and pulled it off, then withdrew my pistol from the holster before easing it the ground beside my bed. I slipped the Springfield under my pillow, then leaned my head back and closed my eyes, my fingers brushing the familiar grid pattern laser etched in the grip of the handgun.

Day 1. 5:43pm. Joanna.

Jo glanced over at Keri and Dave as they walked. Why didn't they tell us where they were going? What could they possibly have found? ...Why do they both look so flushed? She stopped mid-stride, turning to face the two of them. "Did you fuck?"

Keri faltered. "I.. uh...what are you talking about?" Her cheeks glowed a tell-tale red, and Dave's matched hers.

Without warning, Jo shoved Keri. Dave took a step forward, but Jo raised the shotgun. "We don't have time for this! If you two want to go at it like rabbits, you can do it outside. Your fucking isn't going to help us get anything done. I don't care if it gets the two of you killed; if it gets any one of us killed, you'll be meeting my shotgun up close and personal. Got it?" With one infuriated glare, she spun back around -- and right into Mev.

She jumped. "Jesus, Mev, where the hell did you come from?"

"I was visiting Kevin. He wants to see you."

Joanna choked. 'He... excuse me... what? No, we have to find everyone else first..."

Mev shrugged. "You're in charge. But he wants to talk to you." He looked at Joanna pointedly.

Jo, meanwhile, stared at the ground, her mind racing. He was such an ass... I took over his group... He fucking has Elaina. Why does he want to see me? And do I still want to see him? ...Fuck, of course I do. Swallowing, she mumbled, "Yeah, okay, um... I should probably... yeah. I'll... I'll go do that. Find everyone else."

She walked away from her small little group, purposely avoiding Mev's gaze. What is he gonna say? Is he upset? What am I going to say? Oh, aspirin... She grabbed a few packs off the shelf, her hands fumbling with the boxes. Two fell to the floor with a crash she thought the whole store could hear. Cursing her clumsiness, she bent down to pick them up and promptly knocked three more boxes off the shelf. She closed her eyes and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. Breathe, Jo. He's just a boy. You've dealt with him before. You're the leader now, so take charge of the situation. Calmed slightly by this monologue, she picked up the boxes, put three back, and continued the rest of the way to Kevin's bed. Taking a deep breath, she turned the last corner, putting on a facade of nonchalance.
