You turn the 9 upside down and then switch it with the 1 to get;

8+8=16!

Well.. if you flip the 9 upside-down and place it after the 1, then it works..

Ok...umm...Nate (just honoring Nate, our...well...king of the forum:D) has 3 water jugs. An eight gallon water jug is full, and then theres a three gallon and a five which are empty. How can you arrange so there is only water in 2 jugs and they are the same ammount?

Not really, I read a book where a kid goes back in time and kills his grandfather and it all worked ou tfor him. But otherwise, no.

The if the girl kills her grandma back in time, before she was born, she would have not been born!

Yeah, but how does that work then? because we all know she's deffinitly been alive up until that moment... so does she pop out of existance or what?

Nobody knows because it never happened. Maybe she dies of a heart attack. Maybe she pops out of existence and is lost forever. Maybe she dies but nobody remembers her. Maybe she becomes different because her grandpa was with another woman. Nobody knows...
