I used to hand write my stories in a notebook, but now I have access to a computer more often so I type them and save them to a flashdrive. Then I lock the flashdrive away in a secret room, guarded by Cerberus. I enjoy my privacy.
I usually write down my stories first in my journal when I'm struck with inspiration, then type it up later when I've got time. I usually edit it as I type. In my journals, the scenes are all over the place, but on my computer, it's neat and organized... mostly!
I actually do both typing and writing. I use writing to just quickly write down a draft then take it into the computer so I can easily take things out and put things in as I see fit.
I carry a little ntebook on me throughout the day, so if i get a mind rush i'll plot it down if i'm on the train, or if i'm walking home, etc. But usually i'll type it out, it's easier to change things. So usually i'll write a lot less, but what i write is usually a lot better.
I prefer typing. My minds racing while I'm writing so if it's handwriting then my pringitn gets reallymessy and confused, but my typed speed is pretty good and I can keep up with my mind. LOL!! does that happen to anyone else? Their minds going to fast for their pens?
I'm a godmother, that's a great thing to be, a godmother. She calls me god for short, that's cute, I taught her that. --Ellen DeGeneres
I write when I have the idea and the plot, when I decide to get serious and deep with it I type it.

I agree with Saphira. I usually write my ideas down on looseleaf, then type them up. Now, if I happen to have an idea while I'm typing, of course I add that in.

Personally, I prefer writing in my writing journal and then I type it up and add it to my writing folder/protfolio on my Macintosh. So... if anyone could, would you check out my portfolio and maybe comment on some of my writings? Thanks!
