Yes, Chive is back. What is the conversation about? - Clive

Can I be in the conversation? I really need to be developed more. - Vadoma

"What can you contribute to the coversation, Diploma? If it's something worth saying, then it's probally been said already. If it isn't something worth saying, then why say it?" ~The Raven

"You know, Raven, you can be excrutiatingly rude at times." ~Kit.

*cheerfully* "It's my gift! One needs rudeness to appreciate politeness. I provide the nessesary balance between light and dark, rudeness and niceness. I am unavoidable and compulsary." ~The Raven

"Unavoidable, certainly. Is it impossible for you to survive without biting comments?" ~Fal.

*thoughtfully* "No, I don't think so. I bite as the leech and the maggot. My bite is helpful." ~The Raven

"Explain to me why that doesn't make sense." ~Kit

"Salutations, Vadoma! Popcorn? Ah, so your writer hasn't taken the time to develop you, eh? Pity. Mine does that all the time, but not with me. So... what do you want? I mean, right now? That seems to help our writers figure us out." ~Narvik

Oh, I want acceptance. But I think I've been over this before? The whole me being from a freak show doesn't go over well with the rest of the actors, I'm shunned. But I'm rather flat, I might say. Heck, I'm not even sure what I look like! Oh, and another thing my writer recently told me I wanted: I want Rosen to notice me. I.... *blush* he's very charming. - Vadoma

"Well she is!" ~Tannar

"She is not!" ~Karenna

"Is to!" ~T

"Is not!" ~K

Well then if you think I'm flat what do you suggest I do? - Vadoma

Nothing. He isn't talking about your character, he's talking about your chest. - Alastair

"So. *grins* Diploma, you need to become well-rounded. Round all around. Like a peach. Soft, smooth, with no awkward worm-holes. Full of fullness and ripeness inside. Perhaps you're not fully ripe yet, Diploma. Maybe you need to hang around on the branch (which is a fancy metaphor for your writer's mind) before you're picked (which is another fancy metaphor for being written up). Do you have a needle?" ~The Raven

"Yep, this is a good place to become more developed. My writer's thinking about introducing another character on here. To become more developed." ~Kit

"She doesn't even know what this new character's name is yet! Still, he's going to be from another story altogether. There's no more than one character on here from each story. Have you noticed that although we're on here, she hasn't written up any of our stories - " ~Fal.

"Apart from mine!" ~Kit

"...apart from Kit's. They aren't even in a notebook yet! The finished, revised, rewritten result isn't, anyway." ~Fal.

"Hey, that isn't my fault! I've put your story on hold because I need to think about it more, and smooth out the inevitable wrinkles which keep on popping up. But I need to write your story before the Raven's to fully understand the Raven's story itself. So I'm kinda stuck." ~ShadowTwit

"Don't worry about us. We're used to being over-looked. Neglected. Pushed to the back of your brain attic. Stuffed in your wardrobe with the stuff you don't want to keep, yet can't be persuaded to get rid of. Talk about having a mathom house." ~The Raven

"Oh, sure. You're neglected all the time. I never take you out and think about you, develop you some more. Never put you in interesting and potentially angsty situations." ~ShadowTwit

"Point taken." ~The Raven

"Remember, the author knows best." ~ShadowTwit

"I think she ought to put the new bloke on here. Get him into the picture. So far, the author has managed to put him down in one word. Dolipỳu. Which isn't very helpful." ~Kit

"Yes, it is!" ~ShadowTwit

"Oh well, if you say so." ~Fal.

"So he'll get his story written up first. Talk about unfair. It's like when you go to the doctors and see people who came in after you go into the consulting room after only five minutes waiting, when you've been there for an hour. I've been waiting two years! Longer than two years!" ~The Raven

"Oh, mlantwi!" ~ShadowTwit

"Raven, I truly do sympathize. But honestly, our writer always takes her time before committing to writing any of us up, and when she did start my story (too soon) she messed up, and had to go back and restart. And look at me! All will go well, dearest Rave, be patient." ~Tannar

"You are very sympathizing, Tanny-boy. You know, I went through eye colour changes, family changes and role changes galore during the first few rewrites. I think I'm going to stay the same now. Pity. I used to be a lot more likable." ~The Raven

"Make that: you were a complete Mary-Sue. You were appalling!" ~Kit

"That's what I said. I'm a lot worse than appalling now. Still, patience is virtue, virtues are pesky, pesky is what I am, and patience ain't in me. And thank you, Tanny-boy. I'm the Raving Raven. Rave. *smiles* Tanny-boy and Rave and the Chive and Trai and Diploma and Narvie. Products and figments and half-spun threads of dreams. The moon and the sun, the winds and the rain, happiness and sadness, good and bad. Part of our writers' worlds." ~The Raven

Raving or rambling? Maybe both. Man, you just don't shut up do you? I'm glad my writer made me sensible. Thank the boards I don't have to hear your voice. ~Alex

*Rolls eyes* Why do I bother trying to talk to others? Might as well talk to a tree. ~Diego
"In a fair fight I would have killed you."
"Well that's not much insentive for me to fight fair now is it?" (PotC: TCftBP)

"Oh, tree, tree! I'm a tree! I'm a tree! The Raven never shuts up, the Raven goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on...do you know that my writer is stuck for a name? Not a name for me, you understand, or for herself, or for Kit, or for Fal. Obviously not for those, because if she was stuck for a name, then I wouldn't be able to name those who she has got names for which wouldn't have names to be named by if they didn't have names in the first place. No, no, no, the writer (may her pen never run dry) is stuck for a new character whose name is . . . hang on, he hasn't got a name yet, has he? Thought not, otherwise I wouldn't be having this wonderfully intelligent, intellectual and enlightening conversation." ~The Raven

"I'm not the one doing the raving. It's the Raven who delights in raving." ~Fal.

"You'd rave if you thought anyone would listen to you. Which they never would, so that is why you don't rave." ~Kit

"How singularly observant of you. How singulary undiplomatic of you. How singulary wrong of you." ~Fal.

"Now, who's raving? Told you so. Fal's ravin'!" ~Kit

"Oh, I don't know. Look at Treebeard. As he's in Middle Earth, I'm here, and you're there, that might prove rather difficult. But you ought to know what I mean. Ought to. I don't say you do, I say you ought to. See, I'm not expecting too much from you." ~The Raven

"Silence is golden, Rose'n'thorn. And no, Diploma, the peach was a metaphor. Have some more metaphor. Care for a slice of metaphor, my dear?" ~The Raven
