"That's beyond the point," Gared said, "I have to find her."

"And if you do?"

"I'll kill Clara."

"And i'll help!" Jake chimed in.

"No you'll be back home, Jacob do you really want to see a vampire on vampire battle?"

"I've already seen one."

"No we were holding back, if I find Clara I'm going to unleash my FULL power on her. There will be nothing left."

"But what if you fail? What if you underestimate her and play your moves wrong?" Anna whispered, leaning closer. "What then?"

"I won't underestimate her! I will save Elizabeth!"

"Or die trying," Anna sat back. He was hopeless.

She smirked when Jake seemed to be clueless as to their conversation.

"What's the big deal about a vampire on vampire battle?"

Gared and Anna both smiled, trying not to laugh at the question. Anna sighed. "Vampires are, as you should know, much stronger than humans. We can do a lot more damage than you think. When vampires fight, there're usually pools of blood, debris, anything you can think of resulting in a major clash. Like a war, or a superhuman battle in the movies."

Jake whistled.

"Yeah."

Gared, Jake, and Anna started tracking Clara.

"OK what if we kill Clara and she doesn't say where Liz is?" Jake asked.

"We track Liz then," Anna said.

Gared switched from Clara to Elizabeth. "We find Elizabeth first, Clara won't be that far away."

Liz was easy to track, she was basically screaming at him in her head. As he got closer the words became clearer. She was telling him to stay away.

Elizabeth paced around the room when the door came open. Clara stood in the doorway.

"Change of plans, you as a mear hostage isn't working fast enough."

"What do you mean?"

Clara pulled her around and dragged her up the stairs. "You are going to die tonight, and while you're dying they are going to be watching Gared die."

"Why do you want to kill Gared?"

"I hate him, I've always hated him I will always hate him."

"He's not that old of a vampire."

"I've hated him since we were infants, I've known him as long as you. And I know he's always been in love with you."

"What?!!!"

"He loves you. So I'm going to kill you."

"What?!!! He doesn't love me!!!"

"YEs he does."

Anna held up a hand, indicating for them to halt.

"What?" Jake blurted, looking around.

"Hush," she hissed. "We're here."

It was an old building, probably from a hundred years before. It looked as if it hadn't been used or seen electrical works in half that time.

Anna looked at Gared. She knew he was uneasy. "You all right?"

He nodded. "I think so. Is this Clara's lair?"

Anna nodded in return. "And where she's hidden your dearest."

Gared gasped. He stared at Anna, eyes wide with shock. She snickered as Jake just glanced back and forth between the vampires.

"I can tell you love her," Anna explained. "It's quite obvious thanks to how you've been going on and on about her. I just hope Clara doesn't know..."

"What happens if Clara finds out?" Jake asked.

"She'll - "

A shrill scream from within the building drew their attentions, and in seconds they were all inside the structure.

Clara gripped her neck tight, "shut up you witch, or your Gared will die."

"You already said he was going to die," she managed to say.

"So, I'd rather kill you first." She bent her head revealing her neck. Elizabeth screamed again as she plunged her fangs into her neck. Just before she blacked out she felt herself being dropped and heard Gared call her name.

Siren was walking through the woods when she heard a scream, she ran towards teh noise and soon came up on an old house. With out hesitating she ran into the house to look for whoever had screamed hoping to be able to help them. She turned a corner really fast when she saw a small group of people, she froze stiff praying they hadn't seen her.

Anna couldn't stop Gared. He dove for Elizabeth as she fell to the floor.

"Elizabeth!" was all he could say, holding her. Anna glared at Clara.

"Well, look who it is," Clara sneered at her. "Nice to see you again, you back-stabbing whore!"

Anna hissed, baring her own fangs. "Jake...get out of here."

He was frozen in place. He shook violently from fear. Anna could tell he would only be in the way and repeated her command sternly.

"Gared," Anna called.

He looked up, fury sharpening his already cold gaze.

"Let's do this." Without another word, Anna leapt.

Siren ran in while the vampires attacked each other, she pushed the humen away when he almost got hit by one of the females.

"A love fight?" She asked watching the fight, the guy didn't answer. Siren's eyes landed on the girl that was laying on the ground, probably dead. Her jaw tightened and she could feel her fangs sliding out of their hiding place. She kept from attacking someone herself and made sure the humen wasn't harmed.

Elizabeth drifted somewhere between life and death, her body leaned toward death but her mind pulled herself into life.

Gared attacked clara, going for her heart. But just as he prepared the killing strike she vanished. He turned to Elizabeth.

He saw the other vampire hovering over her and freaked out, "get away from her!"

Siren looked up and backed off.

"She's alive!" Gared said and held her tight. "We have to get her to the hospital." Gared teleported away.

Siren stood looking at the last two people in teh room. She hadn't been planning on hurting the girl but the guy had treated her like she was going to.

"I'm sorry if i interupted something." SHe said heading for the door.

Gared re-appeared outside of the hospital and rushed in. He didn't care about covering up what had happened, or why he hadn't called an ambulence. He didn't really care about anything other than getting her blood.

As soon as he walked in somebody called for a strecher, an iv, and everything else that she would need. They rushed her into the emergency room.

"What happened to her?" someone asked as he followed, pretending to be out of breath.

"Vampire bite," he said compleatly serious. He hoped he had chosen the right hospital. "Can you help her?"

"Are you a vampire?"

"Yes, but it wasn't me that bit her."

"Then yes we can help her."

Clara was enraged, but couldn't help as the fools acted calm. She wasn't but ten feet from the betrayor, the one se had believed to be her friend.

Rage bubbled up and over as Clara stepped out of the shadows, not creaking a single board. Now she was going to have to get to Anna and Gared.

Clara sped up behind Anna, put her in a chokehold and disappeared, only to turn up in the tree cover behind the old structure.

"Why, Anna?" Clara said through her clenched teeth. "You know why I'm after Gared, it's legitimate. Why help him? We were best friends. Why?"
