The first story I can remember starting was when I was eight I came up with something about a unicorn mare going on some adventure or another. I had my dad type it for me. ^_^ I didn't really get into writing until I was 13, though, and it turns out my first real project was my fanfiction. XD I did quickly come up with my own trilogy, though, so I'm not stealing all my ideas from someone else. ^^;

I started writing when I was ten years old. I started out by trying to make little comic books of my heros back then: Mega Man, the good guys from Jurassic Park, the Terminator, Superman, etc.
And at the age of fifteen, just as I was starting high school, I finished my first novella, inspired by a dream and the movie Fight Club. I called it The Walkway. It was a shoddy imitation of the movie, introducing teenagers from the streets fighting in a competetive club. It had a small romance story, and a little twist that could be seen from a mile away.
After that, my writing slowly improved. My second novella, The Blind Living, was a horrible book inspired by Fahrenheit 451. Except my story was darker, bloodier, and less intelligent.
My third novella was a horror story about Lucifer managing to posess a human being in the efforts to escape from Hell and take over Earth.
And then, I wrote the sequel to the Walkway called A Whole New Game, which was more involved with gangs in Chicago than Fight Club-esque moments.
Then I wrote my first 'contemporary' novella about a boy living Miami trying to get with a certain girl he liked, and struggling with his parents' divorce. He finds faith in Christ and saves hiimself from self-destruction.
After that, I wrote another supernatual/fantasy book about demons controlling a fictional world. To combat these demons, God instilled special powers into Watchers, or humans who chose to honor God above all things and fight for him. it was my longest novella at the time, at about 150 pages long.
And then I wrote a book called Rosko; and man, it was the best I had written at the time, at about 189 pages long. It was about a boy who got involved with bad men led by a derranged, muderous idealist whose goal was to overthrow the USA govt. and instill anarchy. I still read through it every now and then, just because it was so good at the time.
And then, I finally finished my first novel, It's in the Blood, in early February, 2008. 369 pages long, and it's still a great read. It's about MMA; you know, the UFC stuff that's become hugely popular in the last few years. I have become a huge fan of MMA since 2006 and could not pass up the opportunity to write a book about it. I would put it on here, but that would take forever to do so.
So, instead, I'm writing two novels at the same time; A Foggy Glass, which is a science-fictional story about USA that has lost its sense of purpose in the world and has been divided into several different territories goverened by corrupt officials. The other story, Keep it Cool, is yet another contemporary story about a college kid living out his life, trying to form a band do what he loves doing, which is playing music, while learning some life lessons along the way.
And wow, i'm impressed at how long this was. At any rate, there you have it. That's my writing career for you so far.

Well, I wrote my first story aged three on the computer at school and I can't really remember it but I have a copy upstairs that my mum used to keep on the fridge (oh the cliche haha!)
After that I wrote pretty solidly whilst in primary and secondary school, and very well, sometimes better than I write now because I always had a good grasp of grammar and spelling and had a lot of imagination! Nowadays my teenage angst ruined my work because I feel into cliche-ville and when I was sixteen i discovered the theory of intertextuality and now I can't escape it! Everything i read or watch has elements of the Bible and I can't escape it either, it drives me insane!
Well, anyway, that's it up until now really. I daren't list all the things I've written, it'll take me forever! Plus I would have to rail through all the notebooks on top of my wardrobe and it would take me days because I would insist on reading it all haha!
At the minute though I am working on a novel about the daughter of a child star and how it has affected her, a comment on celebrity life and how someone people can't help being famous, like Brad and Angelina's baby Shiloh.
Haha, early stories are wonderful to re-read. And humbling.
I started writing when I was like - uh... forever. I don't even remember. I can't recall what my first story was about but the first story that I DO remember writing was about a girl named Willow getting lost in the woods and finding her way back home.
I remember showing it to my dad and him telling me to describe what breed her pet dog was.
I started writing when I was six and I wrote it after coloring some picture. It was supposed to be a story to go with the picture, which was of a puppy with a party hat. It was kind of cute actually. My mom has it somewhere up in the attic.
I wrote my first story in 1st grade, before I got serious about writing. It was about a boy who hated Mondays because people would always cut down people's trees, and it kept knocking out their power. Not my finest piece of work.
I'm told that I've been writing since I was seven or eight but it feels like I've been writing forever. We moved around that time so the story is probably long gone and I have no idea what it was about. My Mom doesn't rememeber because I wouldn't let her read it. One day I went through all of my notebooks and loose pieces of paper. The majority of them were from when I was in fifth grade and I remember thinking"How did I ever think this was good?!" when I read them.

I started writing when I was about five or six as well. I used to make these little picture books. One was about the day I found a flying carpet and travelled over the world etc.
Most of my stories started with : 'Once upon a time, there was a little girl called Charlotte' Luckily, my year two teacher showed me there were other ways to start a story
My hand writing was so dodgy back then... It still is to be honest.
When i got my first barbie, i always created a huge story line. Every one was dramatic. In third grade, i worte a story called the haunted cappuccino. I lost it, but it was only three paragraphs long. When i began to write seriously, i was ten and in fifth grade. I read Kira - Kira and that inspired me to write a story of a birl whose father tries to sail around the world in a small sail boat. Durring that time, the girl becomes really sick (i forget the disease) and upset. She hallucinates often. One day she takes a sail boat and goes to find her father. Her illness got the best of her and she became weak. A boat found her and a man picked her up. he told her that she looked like his daughter at home. She new it was her father. He put her to bed in the ship and he goes to check on her several hours later. her eyes r closed and she is totally still. He checks her pulse and finds out that his weak daughter is dead. I never finished it, but it was beautiful. I plan on rewriting it and hope to post it here soon. I now have three other stories that i am working on.
I wrote a lot of stuff as a little kid (I honestly don't remember what age - I have a notebook I filled with really short stories), but at that point, I wanted to be an artist, not a writer. I really started seriously writing at about first grade.
My first story that I remember as a "serious" writer was about a horse and her adventures, and while I considered it a chapter book then, each chapter was only like a page long. But that was the beginning and I have never looked back.
Actually, I started writing when I was ten years old.But writing wasn't my thing when I was small.I used to draw. That started from age two.Anyway, my first book was "Super Squad".It was about a group of children with amazing powers.I got the idea from "Secret seven" about making a group.
I wrote that to publish, but I never really finished. At those times what me and my friend did was writing.
I was improved by them. And still I'm writing stories on books for fun.

I first remember starting writting when i was about 7 or 8 and my first story was a fanfiction (although i didnt realise that at the time) about my favorite band at the time 5ive- thats Five people who dont no (which i imagine is quite a few) they were a pop band who i adored

It was my sister who inspired me to write. She wrote lots of poetry and I loved to read them. She's even contests for them. I wrote a poem called "Guardian Angel" and gave it to my teacher in 5th grade (maybe around 9 or 10 years old). She loved it. It was the first one I officially wrote as a writer.
