Anxious vs. Eager

Anxious is negative. Eager is positive.

If you're looking forward to seeing someone, you're eager for their visit. If their visit is a cause of stress and you're waiting to get it over with, you're anxious to see them.

Anxious conveys worry, unease, and nervousness.

Eager- excitement, impatience, happiness.

I just see these confused a lot. Hehe, this is the first writing tip that I've posted.

Hehehe... yay! I don't know. I saw that distinction in The Giver and thought it was pretty cool then. :D

I never thought there was a difference. If you didn't post that I probably would never have known. That's a good tip.

When your heart gets pierced with arrows, don't rip them out and pierce those around you in retribution for your hurt. You'll only unnecessarily wound others and bleed to death yourself.
