Script Frenzy

I read on the NaNoWriMo News Flash (or whatever it's called...) that they're planning a 50k in June for screenplays. Anyone interested?

I am! I've been told that my writing style could be easily turned into a movie script, so why not just cut out the middle man?

I've never written a screenplay before. But I'll give this a go anyway .

I'm not really good at this but I'll give it a try, depending on what takes place between now and June.

My goodness, that'd be difficult. Most of the words in my 50k were description and other useless stuff!

I love dialogue a bit too much, and it'd be easier for me than NaNo was... *grins* and I'll be out of school! So, I might just have to do this one (plus, I have friends I can [s]force[/s] coerce into doing cold reads, too!)

50k of script? But you can't add anything useless to a script!

Monologues and soliloquies are wonderful. Characters can just ramble on and on and on! And "witty" dialogue about nothing! Inane conversations! It's endless oppertunities! And I have a few scripts (only a few pages) I could actually expand! Or re-write...*grins* This'll be awesome!

Hey, this sounds cool! I was bummed because I just came out of the NaNoWriMo forum, and I missed it. And to be honest, I've never seen a screen play before. I also have a load of work to do. I need to watch and write about Lord of The Rings for cinema, and catch up on pre-algebra. But hey, this is just for fun, right? I think I can do that. I'll need to find out how to write a screenplay, though. But thanks to the Internet, that'll be easy. Sounds cool!

It's just a script for a movie- though I think you can adapt it to a play. Like NaNo...anything goes!
