Saturdays would be better for me (I might have a dinner one of these Saturday nights because my birthday is in less than a week!) I remember my mom saying she booked something for either this Saturday or the following Saturday, but either way I should still be able to pop by when I get home etc!

Hey all! I actually ended up having my birthday dinner last night >.> Eek! Either way, I thought I'd drop by and explain what the write-ins will look like by our next one -- Saturday, March 7th.
Since we've already plotted out the majority of part one (them landing on Earth, meeting the Grounders, establishing dynamics), we can start writing! I will work on the introduction to Red's post this upcoming week. The introduction will include:
Background on The Ark, Chancellor, and life in the jail pods.
Red's impression of your character aboard the dropship to establish the core group
The journey down from the Ark into Earth -- the initial landing.
Even though Red's post will describe the drop, I think it's an important factor that plays into each of our characters' experiences -- so, I really suggest we don't hold back with the first round of posts. It's okay to redescribe something that happened in your character's point of view! Though I do want to make a note of backwards posting before we start writing.
As I mentioned above, it's okay to repeat/redescribe/dig into scenes that already happened in your character's point of view, but I'd prefer we didn't backwards post. Backwards posting is basically spending the whole post redescribing a scene that already passed, meaning the plot isn't moving forward. I suggest you spend a few paragraphs at the beginning of your character's introduction post describing their experience with the drop, their own lives on the Ark, and what's meaningful to them -- but don't make that the only thing in your post. We will discuss the order of posts/ what makes sense plot-wise during the next write-in -- so please try your best to attend!
If you have any questions before the write in, please let either @winterwolf0100 or I know <3 We will be in the pad on/off creating NPC's -- feel free to pop in and create your own in the meantime -- but all NPCs should be submitted/approved before March 7th!
