Who Is Your Favourite Author?

Why am I asking this? I dunno, I'm just interested, and bored.

I'll start (obviously lol) okay. I'd have to say Lois Duncan, or Joan Lowery Nixon. I can never choose between them. They both write murder/mystery novels, I love reading their books.

Btw, it can be a poet too. Not just author, or you can do both! Whatever floats your boat.

David Gemmell or Bernard Cornwell, although the latter's latest books haven't been great. So I'm going to have to go with the late (and great) Gemmell.

Oh, George RR Martin would have to be a favorite of mine too. I like, John Grisham, Tom Clancy, and Nelson DeMille a lot too, although they're not fantasy.

Wow-somone else has heard of Joan Lowery Nixon! I love her Orphan Train adventures-definitely my all time favorite series (well, one of them XD).

My favorite author? I'm a sucker for the classics, so Margaret Mitchell, Jane Austen, Alexandre Dumas-all those wise guys. In terms of modern books (it's the ONLY kind of modern books I read-I really don't like most of the stuff that's out there today), I like Meg Cabot. I love Princess Diaries. I just do! lol Lois Lowry's in there, and of course Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy...so much to choose from!

Terry Pratchett. No one else evencomes close to being as amusing.
