Why Monkeys vs Dragons? For all 21 years of its life, the true mascot of YWS has been a contentious topic. Some say it's Pat Buchanan and some say it's The Egg, but the longest-standing debate reigns between the two we're highlighting here. Who will emerge victorious? The humble monkeys, the mythical dragons, or a mysterious third contender? <.<

I'll paste the rules I've written up for this weekend's event here so you have a better idea of how it all works: Spoiler
- If you'd like to participate, you need to pick a team! Please change your authorship color to either something red/pink-toned (Monkeys) or green-toned (Dragons), then add your YWS username to the corresponding team list. It's fine if there are repeat colors.
- For the purpose of tracking points, please make sure your pad name is either your YWS username or an obvious nickname.
- All questions/prompts will be provided in this pad, one at a time.
- All answers must be inputted in the chat on the right-hand side.
- Searching for answers in another tab is fair game and in many cases necessary. Please avoid using AI assistance.
- First person to answer correctly earns a point for their team!
- Within reason, spelling does matter.
- You won't be penalized for answering incorrectly.
I wouldn't worry too much about the YWS History category - if anything, it'll be a good way for you to learn some things! Folks will naturally be more well-versed in certain categories than others. It's a team effort!
