Announcing YWS Reviewing Week!

YWS Reviewing Week will be running from today to December 6.

During this time, look for a whole bunch of articles on how to critique well, and how to balance criticism with praise. There will be a listing of all the articles written on the front page, and an e-mail will be sent out with excerpts from each. In the meantime, you can find all the articles here in the Squills forum or over in the Writing Tips forum.

Also, this weekend we'll be having the second "Crazy Review Weekend!" To participate, all you need to do is reply here and commit yourself to at least ten reviews over Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

And always keep in mind that we're all here for one thing: to help each other out.

I don't always get time to get online during the weekend but can I sign up and post the critiques on Monday?

I'll join the crazy review week. I usually do a loads of crits at the weekend anyways, but this'll add extra incentive .

I'll do it ... despite working on both Saturday and Sunday. Yup.

I'll join. Just to forewarn you, I've gotta watch my aunt's kids on Saturday, so if the forums get smeared with cookie crumbs and uneaten apple slices, don't look at me... Hehe.

Yes, well, one way or another. ^_^ If I can get it all done on Friday, I'll be fine. I've tournement on Sunday, and one on Saturday now that I think about it.
