Hey everyone! I’m Skyler, and I just joined YWS and I am super excited to finally be part of a space full of writers!
I’ve been writing since I was a kid, mostly messy fantasy ideas and bits of poetry that never quite stayed in one notebook. I really started taking writing more seriously a couple of years ago, using it as a way to untangle my thoughts and capture moments that feel too quiet or strange to say out loud.
My favorite genres are fantasy, magical realism, and coming-of-age stories, basically anything with emotion, atmosphere, or a little magic in the everyday. I love characters who feel real, even when their worlds aren’t.
I’m here to improve my writing, share feedback, and connect with people who love words as much as I do. If you’ve got any tips for a new member or threads I should check out first, I’d love to hear them!
