Like a bird flying in the breeze
It comes and goes
Like my memories
But the songs they make are forever remembered
There unforgotten melodies
That will live for the years to come
Through the generations a harmony was made
A mystical song of memory
It formed like a weapon
Of soothing protection
So lift your voice with me
And together will create
Our own mystical song of memory

The Gift Of Eternal Flight

Lift yourself high
And let your feet glide with mine
Will walk on the waters
And will lift into the air and fly
So hold my hand and wait till your wings emerge
And watch as the sun dances on your feathers
As it lights a path for you to follow
So stretch your wings and get ready to take of
For there is much to discover in this massive world
With flight even the hidden secrets of our land may not be uncovered
So flitter past all the unseen places
And watch as they glow bright for you to see clearly
It’s beauty shall then be unveiled like a gift
One that you can hold inside your heart for eternity
And never let go.

Empty

My heart longs for a breath of fresh air
as I sit in a dark room
silence all around me
and dust suffocating my lungs,
I feel like I'm holding my breath
almost waiting for someone to save me
but seconds turn into minutes, hours, days,
I need to escape on my own
for no one is coming to my aid
as though no one really cares that I've disappeared,
had my family made any attempt to look for me at all
or had I been completely forgotten
cast aside like I was a worn-out cloth that was no longer used,
perhaps it would be easier then
if I just excepted that no one cared for me in the slightest.

Note: I did something a bit different here where I started writing the poem with he/him pronouns but then decided that I liked it better for some reason with she/her pronouns, but I'll let you read both versions so you can decide which one you like more. The one in the spoiler is using the he/him pronouns and the one not in spoiler is using she/her

The Key To Your Heart

she/her Version

Can you free me from these chains
I’m yearning for freedom
I’ve been locked away from the world
I feel like it’s been ages since I sore the sun
Why was I the chosen victim to be caught and locked away
I’m sad that some people think that it’s normal to hurt someone
But that’s the life you’ve chosen
I can’t unravel the reason
Or even make sense of your past
I’m trying to get you to tell me something
But your words are blocked like your heart
And there’s no way to get the key to unlock you
I’m on my hands and knees looking for it
But some swallow there own key so that others can’t find it
It’s away of protecting themselves from others who they fear
They’ll try to hide there fear but it pours out of there actions
I can see in her eyes that she’s been hurt before
It’s the reason she will never trust me
But I can still try my best to show her
that I don’t want to hurt her in any way possible
I just want to help her see that not everyone is dangerous
And that she’s safe here with me.

Confusions A Love Letter

Yes I'm like this you can't change me even if you wanted to,
I'm like this and that's how it will stay sorry that you aren't happy.
my emotions tell me that I'm not ready to let you destroy me like this,
what are you going to do if I walk away and don't say a word to you.
guess it really is over isn't it because what were trying to do isn't working,
I've wanted to fix all these mistakes that we've made by correcting them,
but we continue to make a million more and it's clear now that its time to walk away.
I wanted the best for both of us but neither you nor I could make this happen for each other,
its not that I don't want to be with you anymore because I wish this could work.
I'm bad with my words if I write letters it will all come out the same with unclear paragraphs,
so I hope you can understand me enough that we can still be amicable with each other.
I don't completely want to loss you so stay with me just a little longer,
because I didn't completely mean what I said in the beginning you aren't breaking me on purpose,
I no that we're both making mistakes together and my communication is as dangerous as your actions.
allow me to hold your hand still when I need comfort and I'll allow you to do the same,
because we're good together if we can figure out how to get up after we fall.
