Sophie Hooper, resident partier and paladin pledged to a frog, grows bored, and decides she wants to hit up a couple of local parties she's heard talks about. When she turns to her mercenary team though, nobody wants to join her, except Irene Daycreek, raging alcoholic and angel who turns water into wine. What adventures will they get up to?

Irene stumbled through the open window. Her clothes were tattered and bloodstained, several sticks tangled in her hair. Her wine glass was full of champagne, bubbles softly popping. She giggled as she set the glass down on a nearby table. “Come on.” She held her hands out of the window.

Sophie climbed in after her, wearing a woven flower crown that sat tilted on her head, and she had two blue stripes of paint under her eyes, like she’d been at a sporting event. She had a faraway look in her eyes. “Shh,” she whispered loudly. “We can’t wake people up.” Ignoring her own advice, she tripped and knocked over a box full of metal weapons, sending it crashing down. She stared at it, like it took several seconds to process what had just happened. “Oops.”

Sophie gasped. “The Lady Cordelia!” She yelled, then quickly pulled her pack off her back, opening it and sighing in relief. “She’s here. I’m sorry, my lady.” She pulled the frog gingerly out of the bag, and along with it, a rubber duck. The Lady Cordelia Agatha Bazir the Fourth did not look happy to be sharing her royal space with a rubber duck.

The light clicked on, sudden and harsh, and Sophie and Irene screamed, jumping in the air. Big stood at the edge of the room, holding a piece of wood as a bat which he immediately dropped when he saw it was them. He sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose. “What are you two doing, sneaking in through the window?”
