Hey, I hope this isn’t too sudden but I kinda wanna change one thing ab Veronica’s character:

Originally she was just a demon, but I was looking into some things and I thought it’d be cooler if she was a tiefling. Essentially, someone becomes a tiefling when they make a deal with some demonic entity, and all of their offspring / descendants become tieflings.

I think it’d be more interesting bc tieflings are generally mistrusted or looked down upon… I’ll explain it a bit more in my intro post

(Also i don’t play DND so I’m probably getting somethings wrong, or there’s probably species rules I’m ignoring, but I don’t think it rlly matters)

Also thanks, Omni! ^^

I kinda had the idea that, like, some technology exists, but there’s magical versions of it like magic mirrors instead of phones

Oh that could work too! C: And there could be some kind of food delivery service run by flying mythical creatures (harpies? griffins?) instead of humans in cars... Hmm...
Thoughts on modern tech in this world vs magical substitutions for it, anyone else?

Just gonna tag you all so you don't miss this-

Edit: Also, great first post, Gengar! I loved this little bit of Veronica's internal monologue: "Destiny? Well, destiny could kiss her hooves! Maybe she’d drop out of school entirely. Maybe she’d be something else—like a government spy. Yeah, she would make a great spy." XD Also felt for her when she was talking about how she and Mallory used to hang out <3

with the modern tech, I agree with @GengarIsBestBoy with her comment about phones being magical mirrors instead. you can cast spells to generate something on the mirror like a texting app or any kind of app. I'm still thinking about the internet part though.

novel: dream-ish (camp novmo '25)

I was flummoxed by fractious Franny's decision to abrogate analgesics for the moribund victims of the recent conflagration. Of course, to display histrionics was discretionary, but I did so anyways, implicating a friend in my drama to make the effect cumulative. I think a misanthrope would have a prosaic appellation, perhaps one related to autonomy and the rejection of anthropocentrism. I think they wouldn't think much of the prominence of watching the coagulation of tea to prognosticate future malevolent events, not even if those events were related to jurisprudence.
