Sadie nodded. She let a brief silence pass between them. It felt early on in their conversation to trauma dump, but, well, here he'd already laid a dead wife and absent children on her. May as well. She tightened her grasp slightly, not looking over at him. "... My parents are still alive... but informed me I was dead to them. So... you could be doing a fair bit worse. She was trying to help him see that he wasn't lost as a father; so she'd left out the fact that her father wasn't that far off base. Not that she'd been dating Quinn; she hadn't. But. Well.
