"Sorry." He glanced toward their table. "...We should go. Be well, both of you."

"You too." Ky dipped her head to him and turned towards the door.

Jerica nodded, too. She felt like she was missing a bit of context, still. But she was glad that Ky had gotten that out of her system. She seemed more relaxed now, if disappointed. "See ya."

She turned towards the door as well.

Helge and Viol went to sit back down. Bay got to his feet and headed for the girls.

"Oh, there you are," Jerica said, nodding to him as he approached.

Ky blinked. She'd forgotten why they'd come in here to begin with and was startled to see him. Had he heard her? She hoped not. She felt a prick of guilt that she'd told Tomhas's secrets. Especially now that his friends weren't going to be helpful anyway. 'Friends' rather.

He dipped his head. "Did you find what you were looking for?"

"Yep." Jerica nodded. "I think we're all good here?"

She glanced at Ky, who nodded hesitantly.

"Then we'll wait for Sera and Rickard, unless you want to wander some more."

"In here?" Ky asked glumly, hoping that wasn't the case.

Jerica chuckled and decided to take pity on her sister. She clearly wanted to escape the tavern. And they already had their drinks. "We'll wait outside." She nodded to Bay and took a step towards the door.

"Not if you don't want, no."

"Let's check on the horses," Jerica suggested, pulling the door open.

"Okay." Ky nodded and nodded to Bay, not sure if he was going to join them or not, then strode outside. "Thanks."

Bay dipped his head and followed them out.

Myna was off near the Drummers now; Speaker had cornered her and was talking animatedly.

"Whoa." Jerica spotted her. "What's that?"

Ky followed her gaze, then followed her brow, offended on Myna's behalf. "Who. She's not a 'what'."

"...Sorry," Jerica conceded. "Who?"

"Myna," Ky said. "She's uh..." She glanced at Bay for help, not sure how to classify her.

"She's Myna," Bay said with a shrug.

"... She's Myna," Ky agreed with a nod, glancing back over at her. "... and doesn't seem to be getting a word in edgewise..." She couldn't tell if she was happy about being in that conversation or not. Ky knew she certainly wouldn't want to be cornered by any of the Drummers.

Speaker glanced around and spotted Jerica. Seeing she was with others, he turned back and continued speaking to Myna, in a lower tone. She followed his gaze and squinted, then frowned and went back to listening.
