Ky absently ran her fingers over her furs, giving her something to focus on. She hoped she wouldn’t run into Narfi. At least not in front of Tomhas.

Ky followed after him, feeling like she’d done a bad job in comforting him. They’d both barely drank any of the tea and neither had eaten. How sad.

She blinked, surprised. Had… had she done an okay job, then? She smiled a little and dipped her head. “I’m glad you enjoyed… me too.”

She dipped her head and continued walking, deciding not to push it and pry into whether he felt better now or not.

He glanced at her in surprise, stopped when he'd been about to go inside. "...Night," he said hesitantly, a lump in his throat.

Ky glanced at him guilty, still blushing. She shouldn’t have done that. She’d made this horribly awkward now; she’d need to be more careful in the future. What was her brain doing? Getting confused as to what his name was? How embarrassing. Tomhas. He told her to call him Tomhas.
