“Okay.” She nodded, glancing over at him. That was concerning. But she was running out of things to say, so it was probably just as well.

(I woke up sick again and I’m not sure how bad it is but I’m supposed to do field work tomorrow and I need to give notice if I’m bailing but I’m so anxious about that thought that it makes me feel sicker)
Ky grabbed both cups and her uneaten cookie and dumped them in the scraps pail, then walked over to the washing buckets and washed the cups and hung them up on the rack.

( ;-; yeahhh I thought I’d be back to normal by today but I woke up in an incredible amount of pain at like 6 am. It’s faded now but… meh. Probably not a great idea to go out on a boat when my symptoms are this unreliable)
