Ky let herself get more and more agitated as she walked, stewing in the fact that her Judas had the audacity to show his face and ask to talk to her after what he’d done. She felt for the rune in her pocket to be sure it was still there, then lowered her hand to her sides as she turned around, reasonably certain this was a secluded enough corner to be safe.
