(I think the thing about Tomhas though Is that he loves Anneke so much, like unconditionally But he falls in love with other people secondarily. He's fleetingly polyamorous, if that makes sense. He wants to share experiences and experience life and people to the fullest and it makes him feel guilty every time but at the same time in his heart he doesn't feel like he's doing anything wrong)
