"Sorry, I would find a better way of letting you know which direction I mean, but it's better to have a free hand in case... You're heading the right way, though." Raina waited for a few moments, a couple paces ahead of Neptune.
Neptune nodded. “I know which way right is. I still have hands and a general sense of direction.” They caught up to Rain, taking in a painful breath. “Are we hidden from view?”

“Mostly. I think I see a crevice between those rocks, about four steps in front of us?” Raina frowned at an approximately human-sized opening between piles of rocks. With any luck, there’d be a space big enough for two people in there.
“You think?” Neptune cocked their head to the side. “Are you not sure you see it or not sure it’s a crevice?”

Raina let out a short laugh. "My glasses aren't that dirty yet, so I should hope I'm seeing correctly. Hold on." She clambered over some rocks, then squeezed through the gap she'd seen. It opened into a cramped space that seemed to be home to a couple of spiders. Raina turned back to Neptune and said, "It's small, but if you don't mind sitting with your knees pulled up, it should work."
“I don’t mind.” Neptune carefully approached Rain, their came pushing around more rocks now. “Will you fit too?”

Raina scrutinized the space. "Probably. Hopefully." She took a last glance around at the verdant forest around them, breathing a small sigh of relief when everything seemed quiet. "Do you want to go first?"
Neptune shook their head. "I'm smaller than you. Go on ahead."

"Right." Raina cautiously approached the crack again, then contorted herself between the rocks and scooted as far as she could into the space. She winced as a spiderweb caught on the edge of her glasses, but she wedged herself further between the rocks. "Alright, I'm in."
Neptune approached the opening. "Is there room for me still?"

Raina carefully turned her neck to the side and attempted to look at Neptune and the rest of the space. "Yes, but be careful. The ceiling's pretty low."
Neptune hummed. "Thank you." They ducked, squeezing beside Rain.
