She forced a little smile and dipped her head. “I really appreciate that.” She was still going to worry, though. About what might happen if Michael manifested and Narfi wasn’t around. About what keys Michael may or may not have had on his person. It seemed like too much to hope for that his keys had been left at home or in a saddle bag or something when he died.
